Lifeline Puppy Rescue is a no-kill rescue for young puppies throughout the Rocky Mountain Region, Kansas, & New Mexico. 99% of the puppies we rescue come from city and county shelters. We like our mom & pop, friendly, small town image. People like adopting Lifeline's puppies and giving them a chance at life. The Lifeline connection to small towns and rural areas is crucial. When we work together,

puppies no longer have to be destroyed. How do I adopt a Lifeline puppy? To adopt from Lifeline you will need to complete a qualifying questionaire and sign a contract. You must be over the age of 18 to adopt a puppy. We do not adopt puppies as gifts for someone who does not live with you. A spay/neuter agreement is required and a rebate program is available. An adoption fee will be required; the amount depends on the puppy. Average fees range from $250 - $475.

Meet Karlie ( #20-25)! She is a 16 week old Heeler mix. Karlie is a sweetheart! She LOVES playing in the snow – chasing her sister and foster dog siblings. She plows thru it with her nose and comes up with a face full! Karlie is smart – she is going to learn fast and already rarely has accidents by using indoor wee-wee pads and doing her business when taken outside. She’s already figured out the doggy dog just by watching the other dogs. She’s been around cats and chickens and is curious but chills when told to leave alone. Journey is the definition of a gentleman. He is a 12 week old Husky/Heeler. Journey is an old soul in an adorable, puppy body! He is very smart and inquisitive. He loves to play with his foster siblings (Dogs and Kids!) and has been respectful around cats. Journey is doing fabulous with his potty training and has not had any accidents in the house while having regular bathroom breaks outside with his big foster brother and sister. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night beautifully. Journey sits and waits patiently for his food at meal time and is more of a grazer. Meet Smush! He is a 9 week old Pit Bull mix. His nickname originates from his cute little snout that is smaller than his littermates’. He is a super sweet, cuddly little pup and loves climbing into your lap and rolling around on his back for belly rubs. He is always wagging his tail and has a huge personality for being such a little guy. He enjoys playing with his older foster brother, Gio, and playing with toys. He is crate-trained and can sleep through the night, and takes naps in his crate throughout the day. He is a fast learner and is working on potty training. Meet Bonnie ( #17-25). She is a four year old Chihuahua mix. Bonnie is a very sweet Mama who is adjusting to life without her babies. Though she can be a bit shy at first, with patience and love she will make a great companion. Just a few days into foster care she is progressing to trust us and even greet us at the door. She loves to be in the same room as humans and enjoys snuggling near them. She is showing growing interest in her foster canine siblings and some eagerness to be part of the pack. She seems to be mostly indifferent to felines although she likes when they snuggle-up close to her. She has done well in an environment with teenage kids and adults. Meet Ivy ( #25-25)! I She ia a 14 week old Heeler mix. Ivy is a playful, outgoing pup. She loves to run around the yard and play with her sister. She is spunky, adventurous and enjoys checking out new things. Ivy also loves a good cuddle, belly rubs and hanging out with her foster human. Her fur is very soft. She is doing great with potty training; only a few accidents and has figured out the dog door. Ivy is learning “sit” and picking up on that well. She’s lived in a home with five other dogs and two cats, so she’s well-adjusted and social. However, she may be a bit timid around small children. Meet Newton (98-25). He is a cuddly, fluffy 13 week old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix. Don't let his reserved demeanor fool you, he loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs and his favorite squeaky toys. Newton seems to enjoy the cold weather and has been spending his time outside with his nose in the snow exploring. This week we are working on crate training and leash walking. Our Story

Since our 1993 inception, Lifeline Puppy Rescue has saved 40,000 puppies in the west and midwestern United States from euthanasia at city and county kill shelters. We are a 501(c)3 organizationand and the largest and longest running facility of our kind in Colorado, with many LIfeline alumni dogs in your neighborhood! We are an all-breed rescue which accepts puppies and pregnant moms from 5 states and a network of 33 shelters and affiliated rescue organizations. We vet our puppies, treat for anything they may be suffering from, and once healthy, we place them for adoption to find a permanent home. Lifeline Puppy Rescue was founded as a no-kill shelter to save the lives of puppies that would otherwise have to be put down because of overpopulation problems in kill shelters. To date we have volunteers and animal welfare organizations in multiple states which help to transport puppies in danger, and unwated dogs across the Rocky Mountain region, Kansas, Texas and New Mexico. New puppies are brought in every Tuesday, cplaced in foster homes when possible and cared for until the right family comes along. Lifeline Puppy Rescue is a true and 100 percent no-kill shelter. We keep every puppy until they find a home. Our vision is to create a world where every puppy has the safety of home and every family has the love of a puppy.
