The shelter Saturday, February 15th will be closed for deep cleaning. No community service, volunteers or public please.
We must keep area clean and sanitized as much as possible at this time so we are having an early spring cleaning. Thank you

Came to check on pregnant dog that was picked up today and she is currently having her litter of puppies in the shelter right now.
So very sad and heartbreaking. If people would just stop allowing their dogs to get pregnant. Spay and Neuter.

Please ensure the proper care and supervision of your dog. Keep your dog on your property. There is a leash law. We are experiencing an overwhelming issue with loose dogs throughout Tipton county and within city limits. Our facilitiy is consistently at full capacity, and we receive daily calls from individuals whose female dogs have become pregnant unintentionally. Our staff is diligently working to provide care and support for these animals. Unfortunately, this is a persistent problem that we encounter every day. It is essential to recognize that the animals are not at fault.

We enjoyed our visit from Covington Ffa students today! Our pups enjoyed their play time. We work so close with Munford High and Brighton High School and now Covington High is joining us
