This is not a post I ever thought I’d make but I have decided it is time for me to get out of the skull business. Words can’t express how thankful I am for the friends I’ve made and the opportunities I’ve had to preserve so many memories for so many people. This started out as a hobby for me and has grown into something I never imagined it would. I can’t express how thankful I am to everyone who trusted me to preserve their trophies. I will honor any outstanding certificates I have from fundraisers I have donated to but I will not be taking in anything else.

I take pride in the quality of a mount over how fast I can get them done. Unfortunately there are a lot of folks out there that promise quality work in a week or even a few days. I’ve spent countless hours perfecting my process but have yet to find a super fast way to do it. The backyard boilers out there will subject your trophy to high heat which damages the bone and often leaves it brittle and full of grease. They will blow the bones out of the inside of the nose because it’s easier to clean that way. The grease will soon resurface leaving you with a discolored and stinky skull on your wall. I take my time to clean them as best I can before I whiten them and stand behind my work, if I send one out the door that turns dingy I will of charge fix it free of charge and no questions asked.

The skull in this picture had only been the my degreasing process and had not seen whitener at the time of the pic. The customer opted to keep it this way.
