Due to no fault of his own, Stymie was returned today - it just wasn’t a good fit in his new home, and with their adult cat.

Yes, that’s right! Porky and Buckwheat finally found their forever home - together!
They got to hang around with me for an extra two weeks, but the wait was more than worth it.
They headed out yesterday afternoon into their foster-to-adopt scenario (since Buckwheat is waiting on his neuter.)
The family have fostered kittens via our shelter before, and the dad thought it was about time he joined the rest of them in wanting some kittens of their very own 🥹 these sweet brothers are an early Christmas surprise for his family.. they’ll have two doting parents, and some human siblings, too.
They are the sweetest little things around, so I just know they’re settling right in!

Porky and Buckwheat are here! Through absolutely no fault of their own, these sweet brothers were returned today, after a week being gone.
It’s so nice to see them again, and hear those sweet purrs! 💙
While we of course always gladly accept returns, and sometimes it just doesn’t work out.. it is also very important for adopters to understand that kittens are a lifelong commitment, and this is something that should be discussed and agreed upon with every member of the family/household before taking the plunge.
They are now happy and safe back home and will be going back to the drawing board in attempts to find their true forever family! These boys are the sweetest souls who deserve all the love and appreciation.
