Meet Charlie, a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, who has struggled with profound insecurities due to insufficient socialization. His initial assessment revealed Possession Aggression tendencies, with a documented history of aggression. Charlie and his owner are participating in our Behavioral Modification Program, led by Monica, a highly respected Canine Behaviorist.
This comprehensive program will focus on building Charlie's confidence, promoting emotional resilience, and teaching impulse control through targeted training, socialization, and desensitization strategies, with the ultimate goal of developing a happier, sound dog.

Rimmy, a 1-year-old Mountain Cur, is enrolled in our In-home Obedience Program with Ocianna Church. The program focuses on addressing the owner's main concerns, including Rimmy's high energy levels, submissive peeing, jumping on guests, and leash pulling. Through private sessions, education, and real-life training, Rimmy and his owner will work towards achieving a stronger bond, solid obedience foundation, and improved self-control.

Please don't be an inhumane little prick TONIGHT OR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
At the temps our area is seeing are UNSAFE for your dog!
Your dogs will be at extreme risk for hypothermia & frostbite, etc if left outside for extended periods of time.
Bring your dog in!

If you chose to be a jerk by leaving your dog out in extremely cold temps like this. I hope animal control knocks on your door, charges you, take your dog and then places you on a chain around your neck on a short leash with no shelter from the wind or cold for the amount of time you left yours out.

ℹ️❔ Dog Trainer Tip ❔ℹ️
Do you have issues with your dog begging at dinner time or whenever food is out?
Do you know that by giving in to the cute face and giving Fido that piece of food off your plate, you just rewarded your dog's behavior and created a bad habit that you will not want later on? It's called human-created behavior!
Do you know how simple it is to avoid this behavior? It's as easy as ignoring the behavior by not rewarding a poor behavior. If you have to give your dog a treat, make them work for it! Puzzle toys & other enrichment toys are great tools to have in your home.
You say it's not that simple; it really is. The moment you discourage and/or ignore a behavior, the behavior will become extinct.

Still struggling, try these tips:
1) Have them work on a puzzle toy or enrichment toy during your meal time. Bonus points for enjoying this enrichment exercise while on their bed or placemat.
(Pro tip: Puzzle and other types of enrichment toys are of high value to your dog. They should be kept that way. So when your dog is done, the toy goes up until next time.)
2) Place Fido in his/her crate during meal times.
3) Teach a solid "Place" command and have them go to place during meal times. (Pro Tip: Utilizing a leash for this command at the beginning until your dog has built rapport with you. This leash will be your best friend! Remember what it was like with training a human toddler who was learning to go to sleep in their big kid bed. How they would "break" your command and get out of bed. Many nights camping outside the door just to be ready to put them back to bed every time they got out. This is the canine version of that.)

No time is better then now to start. The longer you wait to address behavior the harder it will be to undo that behavior. 😉

🚨URGENT REHOME NEEDED FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CANINE 🚨

Iam creating this post in courtesy for a client that needs to rehome their canine. No fault of their own. Has been with one owner seen being rescued years ago. Owner is now being forced to rehome his dog in order to stay at the assistant living facility. (That's all I'm going to say about that) (Negative comments Will be deleted) This is a situation No canine or owner can control!

This is 2-Pac. 2-Pac has been a client here for almost 4 yrs. He was transferred to me for his training and boarding needs after previous trainer moved out of the area.
He's an Amazing boy & so handsome!
He has received dozens of hours of training over the years.
He is a 7yr old APBT with a great personality and love for all people! Crate trained, house trained.UTD

2-Pac NEEDS a home with no other animals. No cats, no dogs, no other animals period as he is Dog aggressive & has prey aggression as well.
He would be great for a single person or couple. Maybe even a empty nester. Older individual that understands his specific needs.

He is happiest just living his best life with people!
Continued training & support will be donated to help both New owner & 2-Pac adjusted and settled in his new home.

MUST PROVIDE VET REFERENCES, PASS A HOME TEST AND AGREE TO SPECIFIC TERMS FOR ADOPTION.

*If I could keep him would. It's just not feasible for him to stay here with the amount of dogs that have coming through at any given day. It wouldn't be fair for him to live the rest of his life out in a crate.
