My Virginia State Police Patrol Dog Patton doing a public demonstration in 2006
He was a great dog and taught me so much
An unbelievable tracking dog with a amazing find record
He kept me safe in many situations
We had several real world finds with an high percentage find rate and did our part as a team keeping our community safe
We worked the DC Sniper Detail and tragic VA Tech Shootings
Great great dog and I truly miss him

Trying to at a faster pace as to not give him time to overthink things and find fear
The confidence course helps build a routine and pattern
They become hooked on the pattern and begin to relax letting muscle memory take over
That been said
That is when I introduce new things such as touch and now a ball
I love watching them find there stability 🤠

Day 1 Board & Train Yellar A 2 year old Labrador Retriever This is one that was a last minute urgent situation He is extremely aggressive with a high anxiety Yellar will not let anyone handle or touch him except his owners He has had very bad veterinary appointments and is unable to board at any facilities I met him for the first time on Sunday for a consultation to see if I would be able to help him as his owners will be out of the country for a month and had no place to board with his aggressive behavior So this is the beginning of his journey and hopefully I am able to help him become a happier, more confident and much improved Yellar Patience Patience Patience 🤠
