Dogs’ ears have over a dozen muscles! 🦴 These muscles allow dogs to move their ears in all sorts of directions, which helps them pinpoint sounds, communicate emotions, and even cool down. When your pup perks up their ears or tilts them in that adorable way, they’re putting those muscles to work!

Why is this important? 👂 A dog’s ears are not just cute—they’re essential for hearing and expressing feelings. Being in tune with how your dog's ears move can also give you clues about their mood. Are they excited, curious, or maybe even a little anxious?

It’s kitten season! 💜🐱 Meet Jasper and her adorable kittens. Jasper was a feral cat who lived behind the clinic when we moved in. Over time, our team members became friends with her and discovered that she isn’t so feral at all! When we brought her into the clinic to get the vet care she needed, we discovered that she was pregnant! Hailey, one of our amazing LVTs, then decided to bring her home so she could have her kittens in the comfort of Hailey’s home. Stay tuned for more updates on Jasper and her kittens!
