Just when we thought Swenson’s Hardware couldn’t be any more helpful, they proved us wrong again!
This spring, we started expanding our pasture space for our cows. When it came time for fencing, we talked to Jon about getting staples—we wanted to keep as much business in town as possible. As we browsed his online catalog, we quickly realized that we could purchase our entire fencing project through Swenson’s. The best part? After pricing everything out, Swenson’s Hardware came in considerably lower than the three closest big-box farm stores. (Bonus!)
On top of that, we bought a headlamp from Swenson’s a year ago, and it has been one of the most useful tools we own. From late-night calving checks to feeding in the dark, and now even this fencing project, it’s been a lifesaver.
And last but certainly not least, we purchased our Ritchie drinker from Swenson’s three years ago, and even through -33°F wind chills, it has never frozen. Knowing that’s one less thing to worry about on those brutally cold winter mornings is a huge relief.
