Announcements!

Some of you may know that our groomer, Lori, recently had shoulder surgery. While she is doing well, unfortunately she will not be back to work before the end of the year. We will miss her very much while she is recuperating and we are looking forward to her return!

In the meantime, Cassie, our current groomer (since 2015!), is graciously stepping up to help us keep up with all of your pups. Thank you Cassie!

And last but not least, we are excited to welcome Milinda to Appleview Grooming starting this Monday, July 22. She comes to us with 35+ years experience encompassing many dog breeds, personality traits and behaviors. Thanks for joining us Milinda! We are happy that you are here!

Regarding the Canine Respiratory Outbreak that has been in the news lately:

We want to assure you that we take this outbreak seriously. Your pup’s health and well-being is of the utmost importance to us.

First and foremost, each dog is an individual with its own health challenges. If you are concerned about your dog’s risks, please contact your veterinarian with questions. Your vet will be able to advise you what the risks may be and how to prepare or deal with them.

Dogs that may be of a higher risk include but are not limited to:
Elderly
Very young
Pregnant
Immunocompromised (by disease or treatment)
Underlying heart/respiratory tract disease
Brachycephalic breeds

Appleview Grooming takes steps to ensure as safe an environment as possible. We keep dogs separate and sanitize cages and equipment regularly throughout the day.

We ask for your help with the following:

1) If your dog is showing signs of illness, please call to reschedule your appointment.

2) If your dog will be spending time at a boarding facility, please schedule your grooming appointment for at least 14 days following their return home.

3) When your dog is ready for pick up at Appleview Grooming, please pick them up asap.

We appreciate your help with this and hope that everyone has a happy holiday season.
