I thought I’d share a sweet update to brighten everyone’s weekend!

Many of you may remember Evie (previously Sandy) who we confiscated back into our care from a neglect situation, and was eventually placed in a loving home in Florida. We received an update today, and she looks like a completely different girl! She does have minor deformities due to her care while in adolescence, but that is not stopping her! Her family said that she is no longer having any flare ups, her health is great since recovery, and she loves her fur-siblings. While our hearts were broken with what she initially went through, our hearts are now so full with the amazing life she has been blessed with.

First two photos are from the night she came back into our care, and the rest are current updates. Here’s to Evie ❤️

I promised an announcement, so here it is!

We have retrieved a puppy from our January ‘23 litter back into our care, purple collar female “Chakra”. We have been attempting to retrieve her back since August, and finally we were successful. After many exhausting months of attempted retrievals, attempts from her owners to resell her, and even a false death claim, she is now safe and back with us. We are eternally grateful for everyone who stepped in to help through the long process of locating and retrieving her. She is currently quite fearful and has no manners (yet), but she has the most docile and friendly personality and is getting along beautifully with the pack. She has become inseparable with her half-sister Samaya, and is eagerly learning how to be a happy and well-mannered dog. As of right now, she is not looking for a home. She has a phenomenal family patiently awaiting her availability, but that announcement will come at a later date in due time.

We have been slacking on our social media presence (so sorry!), BUT we are finally settled into the new home and finding routine! However, myself and the whole pack are still traveling to our old home weekly to renovate and prepare to sell. Who would’ve thought that a pack of giant dogs and years of puppy litters would take it’s toll on a house 😉

This weeks home renovations are focused on landscaping. While the boys are too focused on bullying our lovely painting crew, the girls are eager to assist in the yardwork. They’re lucky they’re cute, or else I’d have to break the bad news that running off with sticks doesn’t count as helping!

In other news, yesterday was our first Tibetan Mastiff litters 2’nd birthday! All of my best wishes and love go out Maize, Attila, Bronx, Sedona, Norman, Timber, our departed Salem, and all of their families. I have so much gratitude to all of the phenomenal families for providing endless love, patience, and care to such a big piece of my heart. I’m lucky to have them, not just as my puppy owners, but as extended family and dear friends. 🖤🐾

With so much going on behind closed doors, we haven’t been posting as much as usual. So to make up for it, we’re here to fill your feed with an puppy update full of cuteness! Here are update photos of our Winter 2023 litter! Pups are now 8 months old and are as precious as can possibly be. Huge thanks to all of the wonderful families for the amazing care they take of our babies. 🖤🐾

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....”

Please hold Salems family close to your hearts, as they grieve the loss of their boy, taken from them way to soon. As breeders, we pray to have puppy families that are as loving, compassionate, and caring as Tony and Danyelle. My heart is broken knowing the pain and grief they must be enduring, but my heart is full knowing the unwavering love that Salem felt every day being with them. Here’s to remembering the good times filled with joy, play, and love. Until you meet again at rainbow bridge. 🐾🖤

Everyone, please keep Salem and his family in your thoughts and prayers right now. Salem managed to escaped his house last night and upon being found was suffering from heat stroke. His owners rushed him to the emergency vet where he is still being hospitalized and treated with IV fluids, blood transfusions, and a cocktail of medications. He has been up and down, but we are trying to maintain a positive outlook and pray he can come out of it. He is a strong boy, but the pain his family must be feeling right now his indescribable. It could have just as easily been anyone of our pets, so please hold your pups tight and send all of your prayers towards Salem and his family. Please, if you are able, considering donating towards Salem’s growing veterinary bills. ❤️

Samaya’s undercoat has been holding on for dear life, but we’ve been slowly chipping away trying to loosen it all up for a smooth blow, especially given that this is her first adult moult. Would you believe that between these two photos was three hours of brushing/blowing and a full trash bag of hair? Her overall coat quality already looks fuller and healthier with the dead undercoat gone, and I’m interested to see how she looks once she’s finished molting and in full summer coat. Fingers crossed that we can get the rest of her mane and rear-end loosened up and gone over the next few weeks!

Definitely sad we won’t make it to the Carolina Foothills Cluster this year, so instead we look back on photos of last years show and reminisce! Hopefully once our move across states is over and we settle into a normal routine, shows will be back on the schedule!

Miss Chesa got bath and blowout today and it’s (finally) safe to say that she’s done blowing her coat for the season! Now just on to maintenance till next year 🙏🏼

On a side note, this sweet matriarch of our household officially gets spayed tomorrow. After three phenomenal litters and being the most gentle and attentive mother, it’s time for this girl to retire into to a loving lounge buddy. She has blessed us with our very own keeper girl, Samaya, as well as some amazing companions and prospects placed around the world. Its officially time for her well-deserved break, and for her to show our upcoming prospects the ropes.

(Because I have had a few people ask already; Chesa is not going to be placed elsewhere for retirement, she will be staying with us for the entirety of her life ❤️)

Rainy cold weather may not be fun, but it’s not holding us back here as puppies go to their forever homes! Miss purple collar is finally headed off with her new mom and dad, and it was love at first sight. Pictures can only do so much, but meeting your puppy in person for the first time is always an unexplainable feeling. This little lady was the most fun-loving, outgoing, and playful of the bunch, and won over her family in a matter of seconds. We are so sad to see her leave, but so happy she found her forever home ❤️

Tonight there was a huge event downtown for St. Patrick’s Day, so Samaya went out with me for some socialization! She lives very true to the typical aloof and standoffish demeanor of a Tibetan, but she was still extremely tolerant and patient with everyone who came up to ask questions and admire her. This girl is not only a beauty to see, but is everything you could ask for temperamentally. We truly do love her to bits!

🌟 We have an announcement! 🌟

Now that the time is getting closer and closer, I feel like it’s time to finally let the cat out of the bag. Myself (and all of the animals) are relocating to North Carolina within the next few weeks/months. While it is so excited to get a new, larger property for myself and the kennel, it has also come with its set of struggles. I will be commuting temporarily while the dogs have a daily in-home sitter, at least until we find the ideal home. We unfortunately will not be able to make the Tibetan Mastiff National Specialty like we were hoping, as my new job starts that same week. We are so sad to miss out on meeting everyone and their lovely dogs, but will be cheering on everyone from afar! We also are postponing all breedings and breeding plans until we are 100% moved and settled, so the puppies from our current litter are likely the last to be available (from us) for an unforeseen amount of time. We do still have a new addition coming in may that we are so excited for, but all other additions or changes to our program will be postponed as well.

We are so excited for this big change and everything that comes with it. We will still be posting regular updates and information, but our primary focus is that everything moves smoothly and the animals are happy and healthy during this transition. Thank you all for your continued support and we are so excited to provide updates of how everything is progressing!

Many people have been asking for an update on sweet Evie, once known as Green Collar “Sandy” from our May 2022 litter. She stayed with me about 1.5 months to get her health on track and get the groundwork on her training started. After being cleared by our lovely team of veterinarians and orthopedic specialist, we found the perfect home for her where she could truly thrive. Evie is currently living it up in Florida with her wonderful human family, and a lovely dog family as well! As you can see, her pain level is close to nothing and she is enjoying the life she deserves. She is finally able to be a puppy and be in a loving home. I am so eternally grateful for her family for taking a shot on her, as I believe she has wound up exactly where she is meant to be. Here’s to Evie 💖

Puppies are officially upgrading from mush to softened kibble! While miss Gold female takes full advantage of an empty feeding station, the other puppies still take any opportunity to nurse on mama Chesa. And as always, Tashi is close by supervising. 4-6 weeks is such a fun age ❤️

Well, this is a post I was not planning to make, but here we are. Chesa is expecting. We took extensive measures to keep her and and the boys separated for her heat cycle, plus three weeks after. We discovered Chesa is pregnant when she came into the clinic for a blood donation, to which she shocked us all. The puppy’s spines are not showing on X-rays yet, meaning she is still in early stages of pregnancy. With the time frame of her last heat cycle, that means Chesa would have gotten pregnant roughly 5 weeks after her heat cycle ended. We never witnessed a tie and the boys seemed completely uninterested by the time they were re-introduced. I heavily considered the idea of an early spay abort, because Chesas health and happiness is my upmost priority. After consulting with multiple veterinarians, they are all more comfortable with her proceeding with this pregnancy, rather than opting for a spay abort. We will be working closely with our veterinarian and staff during the pregnancy and whelping process due to the back-to-back pregnancy. While we are extremely disappointed that she was bred (as she deserved a much-needed break) we are also anticipating a beautiful healthy litter. Please refrain from any negative comments, as we know this is less than ideal. All we can do now is prepare and whelp a healthy, beautiful bunch.

So, who’s going to tell Atilla that he is a Tibetan Mastiff and not a Newfoundland? 😅 This boy clearly LOVES the water and is a proper gentleman for his dad while at the doggy playground. Seems like he has found the best and most fun way to combat this SC heat! 😉

Monday is the day of play! Paimon may be getting older and slowing down, but having Tashi in the house has brought out a spark in him I haven’t seen in awhile. I guess I wasn’t the only one who needed some puppy loving ❤️🐾

Check out this “brotherly” love between Tarot and his buddy Obi! Obi is a friend’s puppy that comes over often to play; he is a 2 month old Chocolate Lab and is the funniest little spitfire you ever met! He loves chasing around the big dogs and is fully convinced he’s big enough to beat up Tarot (pretty sure he thinks he’s a mastiff too 😉) Even with the huge size and breed differences, they’ll happily lay here for hours just ‘making out’ with eachother 😅

I absolutely love seeing the puppies reach their full potential with their new families. This big boy Atilla (once green collar, Reaper) lives with his dad in Charleston SC and is clearly a smart boy! Not even 12 weeks old and is so intelligent already; This just goes to show what proper training can do for your dog, even the stubborn breeds like TM’s!

I don’t know about you, but I think this bunch was excited to see me this morning! I’m convincing myself it’s because they love me and not because I give them puppy mush 😉

Exciting news, WE HAVE A TIE! Seng Khri’s Palden and Majestic Star Hopes Journey Chesa tied the morning of Aug 17’th, meaning we should be expecting puppies come mid-October! Paimon is a Hungarian import LGD and Chesa is a US-bred show line. We are expecting there to be both working temperament and show quality conformation puppies from this litter. This will be Paimon’s 4’th litter and Chesa’s first, so we are so excited to see what these genetics will bring to the table. Here soon I’ll post some photos of dogs/puppies from Paimon’s previous litters so you can get an insight on the beauties he produces. Hope you guys are as excited as we are! .
