Our new family member, Jasper, is doing very well adjusting to his new life. He does get car sick as he has never been in one. I don’t want to have to give him Dramamine every trip so I’m hoping he’ll get better. Do you slowly back off the Dramamine or don’t give it to get him use to car rides. He’ll be coming to work with me everyday to train him. I’ve been lucky none of my dogs ever got sick. Any suggestions.
Snow energizes Dozier. Sidney decide snow wasn’t that much fun & wanted back in house.
Who says you can’t have fun at the groomer’s. Morty is a blast to have around especially when he does his fearless growl that keeps me in stitches. He owns Angie & Cory.
Dozier & I are taking a break until my 5 pm customer's appt time
And along came Linus. Linus got off his cage & followed Dozier, Rusty & I into the office. He doesn't like being left out.
Dylan got to play in the snow too!
I made a racetrack out of the snow in the dogs yard to wear them down. It work!
Some find that Spa Day is relaxing.
Dylan had a great check up. Callus & cancer growing around ankle fusing it which is actually helping him to walk on leg. Gained a pound. He is on a very low dose of pain medicine as he doesn't act like he is in any pain. He loves Dr. Reeder. She has been taking care of him since he was 4 weeks old.
Dylan enjoyed the cool morning with a fun walk around the parking lot.
I think Dozier is allergic to bathes the way he carries on after one.☺️
The burst of energy before the walk. This is Dozier
Guess the extra pain meds are working. He is using that leg s little. Keeping close eye on him so he doesn't do something stupid.
Still getting around. I do use a sling around his waist most the time to assist him.
Dylan getting used to his ankle brace. He finally accepted the fact that he had to wear it.
If you have an itch just pull out a feather & scratch away. Linus is a smart bird.
Dylan at the WestWind NADD Dock Jumping Event. He swam to the end of the pool & back.
Dylan's veterinarian, Dr. Reeder, has given him the OK to participate in dock jumping this Sunday. The catch is he is not allowed to jump so he will go down the exit ramp to retrieve his frisbee. Chuck, the owner of WestWind Kennels in Thomasville, PA, has also OK'd Dylan to "think" he is participating in the NADD Event. He will be one happy boy. He will be the last dog on the dock. Thanks to Dr. Reeder & Chuck. Dylan loves you!
Linus has learned from the Lovebirds on how to take a bath. Now Mom doesn't have to give me one.
Even the Lovebirds get their morning bath.
