Triple R Equestrian Center

Triple R Equestrian Center Triple R Equestrian Center is the result of a life-long passion for all animals. The "R's" in Triple R stand for Respect, Rehabilitation and Rescue.

Sarah has been working with horses since she was 15, and a green-broke Arab became her next door neighbor. For the last 20 years, Sarah has worked to perfect her knowledge in all aspects of horses. She obtained her B.A.S from SUNY Morrisville in Equine Science and Management in 2004, The years before, during and after college were spent working at Standardbred, Saddlebred and Warmblood breeding fa

rms. She has worked for:
- Rodney Farms - Scottsville, NY
- Winbak Farm – Walden, NY
- Concord Stud Farm – Cream Ridge, NJ
- Northwood Consignment
- Hallston Manor – Clay, NY

In 2011, Sarah met and began working for trainer Tina Legno of Alivio Farm School of Classical Horsemanship. It was then she began her study of classical horsemanship and the timeless teachings of Nuno Oliveira. Sarah applies these principals, combined with her experience working with newborn foals to breeding studs and everything in between when training and teaching. Classical horsemanship’s proven methods are applicable and beneficial to all horses and all disciplines. Sarah’s mission is to share this knowledge with all who seek it. The intuitive training that caters to the horses’ needs to be balanced, healthy and sound is now the basis of all her training, riding and instruction.

We are still collecting for the next month! As we enter this season of giving and thankful ness for all we have, please think of all of those still missing, and those that have lost everything in the blink of an eye.

SUPPORT for North Carolina and Tennessee
We are partnering with The Farmer's Table , Partyka Farms, Dragon Run Farms and to provide supplies for those in need.
Winter has come swiftly to the mountains with snow and freezing temperatures.

We have shippers and dedicated drop off locations confirmed and are ready to start gathering supplies!!!
We are focusing on cold weather gear, new in package bedding, sleeping bags, cold and flu meds, tents and heaters!

These pictures are just examples of the lists our shippers are getting from the local communities!

Also Hay!!!! Many farms have lost their years worth of harvest for the winter! Consider purchasing hay or haylage from local farmers to send down!

Scheduled Drop offs at our farm and at The Farmers Table Restaurant during daylight hours only please. Contact me directly (text is best) and we can do pickups or schedule alternate times as needed.

Friends and Family! We are putting together a donation of cold weather items to ship to NC! Please sort through your gently used cold weather gear and talk to your friends. Drop off locations to come. We are securing a donation site so everything goes to those who need it and not lost to the chaos. We are also looking for a hauler to take it down for us.

Nuno Oliveira told us:
“You often hear that so-and-so is an extraordinary rider because he has very good hands. Rarely do you hear that someone is a splendid rider because he knows how to act with his legs very well. Both are of equal importance if you want to be worthy of being called a good rider… The rider’s legs should be connected to the horse, but completely relaxed and lowered so that whenever they need to act or intervene, they act or intervene in a supple way for the horse to respond with suppleness, and not in a rigid and hard manner to which the horse invariably responds with rigidity, hardness or rejection.”
