Broken Arrow Rescue Community (“BARC”), is a nonprofit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the homeless pets of Oklahoma. At BARC, we strive to rescue homeless pets regardless of the circumstance, but place great emphasis on saving shelter pets in danger of being euthanized. Once rescued, we undertake a rigorous process to find our pets a permanent home with a loving, responsible a

nd committed family. To do so, we utilize a comprehensive adoption process that includes vetting the potential adopters as well as educating potential adopters on the responsibilities/seriousness of pet ownership. By doing so, we hope to ensure our pets will never have to face the situation that lead them to us in the first place. All animals in our care are spayed and neutered and receive any and all necessary veterinarian treatment and are placed in nurturing foster homes until they are ready to find their forever home. At BARC, it is our mission to provide unwavering care and treatment for all animals, regardless of age, breed or other characteristics. Furthermore, we remain committed to the well-being of our rescued pets even beyond the adoption process. To accomplish our goal of providing homeless and at need animals with a second chance, we strive to continuously foster relationships with area shelters and other rescue organizations to develop the network of support necessary to make our mission of providing a better life to pets in need an attainable goal. is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue group, incorporated Feb. 15, 2017.

Can anyone foster this one mom dog and her little puppy? A person took her into their garage, she said, “she gave birth that night and only one of them survived”
The pup has no chip. No one has claimed her after a week.

My husband makes the BEST pepper jelly on the planet! I’ve tried every other brand and even at home shows. Nothing compares.
We eat it with club crackers and cream cheese and give it as gifts at Christmas. Everyone has always raived about it! They want to buy more, we only do it if we have enough orders. It hasn’t been something we have done for profit.

I need a great fundraiser for the holidays to pay off the vet bills.
Is this something people will order?
We will make the jars nice with a label and some ribbon.
Another idea….
I worked in the floral Buisness for years.
I can make gift baskets with goodies.
I can make them nice with jelly’s, homemade banana nut bread, crackers and dehydrated fruit and and fresh potpourri bags.

To make a profit, I would have to order the supplies early, start working on them.
(I can deliver local also)

Let me know what you think if I don’t get much of a response, I will think of something else possibly homemade candles, etc.

I am adding the donate button also in case you would like to help with dog food and vet bills. Our balance at Blue starr is $759.56 and $345.00 at BA Vet Hospital. Any amount is appreciated.

I worked the fundraiser by myself today.
I didn’t get any pictures. Boooo

We received $390 for the rescue.
We gave out over a thousand in prizes. We had donated cakes and cookies from Nothing Bunt Cake ans tons of cookies from Crumble that we snacked on.
We payed $1 bingo, (they won at least a $50 dollar gift each time) Then we raffled all the homemade goods with one dollar tickets.
We also did the 50/50 raffle, one of our great supporters won and donated “their half back to the rescue”
Wow! Thank you Jim and Donna!!
We had 50 people in and out thoughout the event.

HERE IS THE GOOD PART!!!!
It was the most fun and rewarding fundraiser I have ever done!!!!! Oh my heart!!!🥰
Thank you to all the Businesses who gave something for prizes.
We laughed and played our hearts out with our new senior friends. They had a blast!!! I did too!
I didn’t know what a sweet memory we would make and all of us will cherish.

I can’t wait to do these again in our community with fun loving people like them. They never had to leave the property. I brought the fun to them.

Sweet Mia had her spay today.
Thankfully we got her in quick.
It turned out she was very early pregnant but the puppies were all stillborn.
The life as a stray is awful. 💔😭
Her foster Cassie is amazing. Mia is doing okay.
Thank you all for helping her.
I’m sad what she has been through but so hopeful for her to live a better life. 🙏🏼

Celebrating her recovery! 🎉 Ruby has gained 15 lbs. she loved her homemade chicken and noodles and dog cookies. I hope someone loves her as much as I do. Message us to find out more about her. She’s amazing!

♦️Ruby ♦️ was healthy enough to get her spay finally. ❤️ No more homeless days for her. No more scrounging for food with puppies. 🙌🏼 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 They said she did great, now she’s in recovery. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 She still has some weakness in her hips. They also took X-rays while she was sedated. (The vet is at lunch, I’ll know more in a bit) 🤞 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 She will be available for adoption soon. I absolutely adore her! 🌹 She has not had one accident in the house ever. She has been great with the little dogs. 🥰 She is sweet as pie. I’m so happy to her thriving now.
