BARC Rescue Oklahoma We save injured, homeless pets~Please donate at barcrescue.org ~ Venmo: Barc Broken Arrow Rescue Corp.

Broken Arrow Rescue Community (“BARC”), is a nonprofit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the homeless pets of Oklahoma. At BARC, we strive to rescue homeless pets regardless of the circumstance, but place great emphasis on saving shelter pets in danger of being euthanized. Once rescued, we undertake a rigorous process to find our pets a permanent home with a loving, responsible a

nd committed family. To do so, we utilize a comprehensive adoption process that includes vetting the potential adopters as well as educating potential adopters on the responsibilities/seriousness of pet ownership. By doing so, we hope to ensure our pets will never have to face the situation that lead them to us in the first place. All animals in our care are spayed and neutered and receive any and all necessary veterinarian treatment and are placed in nurturing foster homes until they are ready to find their forever home. At BARC, it is our mission to provide unwavering care and treatment for all animals, regardless of age, breed or other characteristics. Furthermore, we remain committed to the well-being of our rescued pets even beyond the adoption process. To accomplish our goal of providing homeless and at need animals with a second chance, we strive to continuously foster relationships with area shelters and other rescue organizations to develop the network of support necessary to make our mission of providing a better life to pets in need an attainable goal. is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue group, incorporated Feb. 15, 2017.

I have put blood, sweat and tears and every ounce of energy and my money and every bit of extra time in the rescue since 2016 to keep it going.
I have dogs that I committed to as a rescue, a safe haven as long as they need but I can’t do it alone.
Please consider making a donation to BARC Rescue this season. It not only lifts my spirt it keeps me believing that we are making a difference.
I’m feeling physically and emotionally drained looking at what we raised last month and how many hours I put in.
Thank you all for helping through the years, the kind words and likes and shares.
I’m sorry it’s not always a positive post, it’s reality and I have to say it.
I can’t do this alone.
I need your help with, cleaning supplies, (wipes, paper towels, trashbags, used towels, mop pads, donations for food and supplies, vet bill money and heartworm prevention, dewormer meds, yearly exams and rabies for the ones not being adopted and in long term care etc.
(any amount helps)
Please like and share too, your friends are likely to help when it’s a non profit you know and care about. It really does lift my spirt, to know, I’m not in the fight alone.
It means everything!
Ways to donate are in the comments, we also have a donation box at Southern Agriculture at 91st and Elm in BA.
Our Amazon wish list is posted at the top of the page.
Thank you!
The pets and I love you all dearly!

Thank you, Max and Neo 🎉🎉🎉
These are our favorite dog items!
Martindale collars slip over their head without adjusting. When you clip the leash on, it cinches and tightens.
They are beautiful too!
We get a free box for the rescue every so often.
It’s incredible how they support all the rescues all over the US.
Now to find a company that donates air filters 🤧😆

Do you need an end of the year tax deduction?
If so, we would be so honored to be the recipient.

He’s a mix of Shepherd and Husky. 🐶
He’s laid back and a little shy and sooo sweet.

It took both of us to get Missy to the vet. Thank God for Jason being able to carry the frozen dogs. 🤣
She can put the brakes on all 67 lbs! 😳
We should have named her Elsa, because she can freeze in a nanosecond. We had to give her something to relax on the car ride. It helped a little.
We did it! She was non reactive to the other dogs in the clinic. She has ear infections and we got vaccines and chip and the best news…
She’s heartworm negative! 🎉

She was happy about a cheeseburger on the way home.

Baby steps!

I’ll never know her story but it wasn’t a good one, poor Missy. ❤️‍🩹
Rescue dogs are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.
No reason to give up, we give 110 percent to give them the best chance at success.

Can you spare some change to fuel a rescue dog's journey? I know things are tight for everyone right now, but every little bit adds up to make a big difference. Thank you for being a beacon of hope throughout the year. Every day is a chance to make a difference in rescue, and your support means the world. Thank you for sharing, liking, and spreading kindness too.
