💓🍓 Meet the cutest strawberry you will ever see! Goose the floof has a paw that is giving him a hard time. The doctor ordered his family to keep a cone on him to keep him from getting to his foot. Ahem... there's a big brain under all that hair...Goose folded, bent, and destroyed a couple of different styles of cones. Enter his wonderful mama and her Amazon account! 🦸‍♀️ We love this e-collar design! We also love Goose and his mama! 💓🍓

As we prepare for Dr. Rust's last shift at Village Vet Animal Clinic on Saturday, it occurs to us that many of you don't know a lot about Dr. Rust. He is not a boastful man, but he certainly could be.

💥Served in Vietnam as a United States Marine💥
🎓 Magna Cum Laude - Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine🎓
🐴🐱Worked as a large animal veterinarian before working primarily in small animal medicine🐶🐴
🚗 Lived and worked in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma (that's a lot of ticks, y'all)🚗
🏋️ Young Max was a body builder- and performed very well in competitions🏋️

⚖️Dr Rust worked diligently to rescue dogs from a fighting ring and prosecute the people who were responsible for the horrendous abuse. In the process, our resident cat guy, met his soul pet. He didn't have long cat whiskers, but instead bore scars from all of the fights he had been forced to participate in as a young pit bull. He was stinky, kinda ugly (Dr. Rust's words, not ours), and the most loyal friend to walk this Earth. Dr. Rust's biggest dream would have been for Pete to live as long as him. 💓

We're so grateful for the 12 years we've gotten to work alongside Dr. Rust. Many of you have sent cards and messages. He appreciates it more than you know. He will be here on Saturday from 10am-5pm if you want to see him before he waltzes into retirement.
