I hate having to get on here and post things like this, but… here goes.
I’m having to touch up some policies and make some new ones while I’m at it.
• If you’re wanting a cut for your dog, I ask that you give a reference photo OR present a description of what you want (via text or in writing) but note that without a reference photo you may not get the exact cut you have in mind, which is out of my control for example, a “yorkie cut” to you may not be what a yorkie cut really is or a “short doodle cut” may not be as short to you as it is to me. Big Boss Dog Grooming is not liable for miscommunication.
• Being 15+ minutes late to an appointment without prior notification (the day before your appt or at least an hr before) will result in you 1) losing your appt time or 2) having to pay a $20 late fee
• No call, No show = 1) not being able to book with me again (for repeat cases mostly) 2) having to place a 50% deposit before booking with me again. That not only takes away from other appointments that I could’ve had, it costs me time & money. And it’s just simply rude.
• Once a pickup text/call/email has been sent, there will be a fee added if I have to hold your dog for over 30-45 minutes unless we’ve made prior arrangements or you have a special case (which we can! I just need a heads up)
• Shot records are not optional! No shot record= No appointment! (repeat customers are exempt if you’ve presented a shot record before and your dog is still up to date)
• I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANYONE SERVICE! Most importantly! This past week I’ve been bashed and talked to rudely and that is plain unacceptable! Do not expect to be disrespectful or rude and still have your appointment or future appointments honored!
Please everyone. Be respectful and mindful to others. The things that I’ve been through in the short amount of time I’ve been open is insane and remember that I’m also a human. And a mom. And a wife. And I don’t do this to make a living, I do this because I enjoy it and I love your pets. Don’t take away the joy I have for this job just because you don’t consider my time, effort and money. I promise I’m an understanding person. But I can’t be if you are not upfront.
