While reading today's paper I read an article that the New York City Council plan to release inmates from Rikers Island. When criminals are arrested they are immediately released under the bail reform laws and it looks like any prior arrests with they are incarcerated they will be released. Meanwhile the district attorney of New York City is not charging criminals but charging their victims for fighting back. What a mess. I suggest people watch a movie starring Kurt Russell namely Escape New York. That's exactly what we have now. If you see someone being beaten call 911 and nothing more. Allow them to continue beating this person because if you touch them they will claim injury and you will be arrested for assault. Have a nice day.
