Oh, good! Zoli is so sweet and smart! She already knows her name and comes when we call her! Still figuring out her potty schedule but no big accidents lately! We love her so much.

family is loving our guy. Finally named him Buck and he’s keeping us busy but sleeping so great. First night stayed in the crate 9 hours and by the 3rd night he’s on his own with no hand in the crate at all. I think his legs grow every time he wakes up from a nap.

Hey Bo! I think things are going well. I am impressed with Romeo every day. I am exhausted but also very happy. He is getting up at midnight and around 4 still. We have had a few potty accidents, but we have over-all been very successful. He has been walking on the leash and learning a few commands. I think he is recognizing his name now as well. Such a great puppy!

Hi Bo!

Attached is a photo of all of us, minus our cat as she’s curious but they still aren’t friends haha

Things overall going well! Appetite is a lot better! He’s (Orion) happy and settling in really well. Crate and potty training going well too! He chews on everything and there’s a lot of redirecting to get him to chew on toys and not nip at us or eat the carpet or whatever. We just love him so much already.

Hi, Bo.

Stetson has been doing so good adapting his new home- better than I ever imagined!

He is sleeping and eating well - he is up to 9.2 lbs. He has ample energy to run around the property and keep up with our boys. Stetson has been an absolute blessing to our family thank you!

This Is Zoli with her forever family- the only Female from Stella litter she had 7 Brothers. She was also the smallest at barely over 7lbs at 8weeks compared to her brothers ranging from 10 to 12.5 lbs. If though she is small, she makes it up with her oversized Personality

Hello Everyone I want to give an update on THCV moving to East Texas - We have moved from a 20acre Ranch to 80+ acre Ranch--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PLEASE NOTE (long explanation) IN Late Sept 2023 I purchased a much bigger ranch in Piney Woods of deep east Texas Westwood TX/ Angelina/Jasper county line. I will have transferred THCV breeding program and my livestock operation by the end of May 2024-
Future litters will be available in Westwood TX 75951 (close to Sam Rayburn Dam- 40mi SE of Lufkin) property boarders the Angelina national forest --I had no choice the lack of water and the continuous 5yr drought has made the current Johnson city ranch operation unable to meet the needs to support my family. I have been loosing money on ranch operations over the last 3 years I have to stop the bleeding- I went to an area with abundance of water. Global warming (being man made or not) it is a reality and is drastically changing the demographics of livestock operation\s and hay production in TEXAS-
Growth is exploding throughout the hill country Dripping Springs is a subdivision of Austin and continues to span westward to Henley/ Johnson City and Fredericksburg—There is not enough ground water to support all this activity –not uncommon having lake Travis and Buchanan at below 50% to 40% full on average over the last 5 years.
The cost of water will skyrocket supplemental feed has to be purchased because lack of natural growth for grazing livestock is becoming nonexistent- East Texas offers cheap land tons of water and keeps me in the country life with no big city encroachment.
Finally, after the move ill be rebranding my operation from Texas Hill Country Vizsla to either East Texas Vizsla or Piney woods of East Texas Vizsla or something similar.
I want to thank you all that have supported us through out the years I hope our pups added tons of love laughter and joy to your life.

BEWARE SCAMMERS-------------------------------------------------------------- I am having post to my time line of other Facebook groups to look at for puppies or web sites-- I NEVER RECOMMEND ON MY PAGES.-- the ones that try and post alternatives are blocked

As always when you locate a breeder please please do your due diligence and ensure that the breeder you choose meets AKC standards, AKC records and medical records of parents are freely available, and get in touch with families that have used this breeder. As in all things there are folks out there that have no business in Breeding nor do they have the passion in improving the breed through AKC Guidance and Breed standard recommendations.

In addition there are scammers that have hacked into breeder emails/ AKC web sites changing contact information indicating
They have puppies for sale to take your money. The folks contact the actual breeder to find out he has no puppies and the electronic

One Final note social media inc Facebook is not my generation I dont embrace it due to how easy it can be misused and manipulated.

1) There is a historical record for each and every litter you see weekly updates for every litter till 8 weeks then you can see how the litters progress in their new homes every year,

2) You can clearly see who has gotten pups from THCV and reach out to them several of them to find out what THCV is all about -
--What is the breeding program like'
--What was their experience like
--What was the process like
--How did the breeder respond to questions even years latter
--How did their Vizsla turn out
---Why they Chose THCV over others

Samson is an amazing puppy! We are absolutely in love with our new family member. Potty training has been a breeze and he whined for all of two minutes the first night in the crate. He is learning to sit and loves his liver treats. He is smart, sweet, playful, and puts himself to bed when it’s time for a nap. We can’t thank you enough for this special little guy. Hey Bo,

Zelda is a fantastic dog. Aside from the rough car ride home she’s adjusted phenomenally. First night we had not a single peep from her, only had to get up once to let her out. She was a little timid at first but she’s now just the most cheerful adventurous spirit.

Archie is doing SO great! We love him more each day. He got his shots earlier this week and he’s 23.4 lbs. He is the sweetest - loves to cuddle up with the whole family, and is such a gentle soul. But he’s got s***k too - him and his bigger brother Kenan can get a little feisty at times and it’s been fun to watch Archie get taller and taller as the weeks go by. Yesterday I was teaching Archie to “stay” and he kept walking away from me - I couldn’t stop laughing, he was just not in a learning mode. Here’s some photos of our little Archie.

Otto is doing great, we’re back at my parents for the holiday and he’s loving being around their 3 dogs again. He’s definitely enjoyed his first Christmas and is looking adorable in his new jacket.

I took him to the vet last week and he’s all up to date on his shots; weighs around 23 pounds now.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was pretty quiet, Riley, our 7 year old ruptured her CCL (ACL in Humans) and required a TPLO (orthopedic surgery) to repair it. So, currently all our activities are divided between Riley’s slow/extensive rehab and the frenzied energy of Maisie and Murphy.

Maisie continues to be a loving, joyful, mischievous, energetic girl. She and Murphy are best friends and each other’s favorite toy. They play so rough we’re amazed they don’t really hurt each other. Maisie loves playing in our wooded yard. She does her best to keep up with the crazy antics of Murphy and Piper, knows where all the armadillo holes are and works diligently to make them all bigger. She is also quite a climber. A couple weeks ago I watched her follow Murphy and Piper up onto our (tall) bed, then she put herself on top of her crate while I was in the pantry getting her breakfast. Last week Larry found her in the middle of our kitchen table having great fun knocking things to the floor. She is a very busy girl!

Maisie is also a very smart girl, we train some everyday and she already knows quite a few commands. She did great in her puppy socialization classes and begins her first obedience class on January 22nd. Her last vet visit went well, everyone loves her. She currently weighs 22 #

SCARLETT litter turned 4 weeks old today. All 7 puppies are absolutely adorable. These pups will go to their new homes in less than 4 weeks Just in time for the New Year.

They are growing and are now enjoying this wonderful daylight hours outside romping around in their playpen.

They are now on Whole milk and raw egg plus when momma feeds. By this weekend they will be introduced to kibble
as you can see momma doesn't lay down to feed its every puppy for themselves

We are madly in love with our Archie. He's an adventure every day and at the moment he has two speeds: ON and OFF. When he's on, the house is filled with joy, puppy play, and lots of mischief. When he's off (sleeping), mommy and daddy can get some chores done, which is nice too. Archie learned to get out of his 3ft high play pen within the first week (how could I forget how intelligent Vizslas are), so we got him a 5ft playpen. He's fully crate trained (which is a first for me since I was never able to do that with my previous Vizsla or our mutt Kenan). Archie is getting better with potty training, a few more weeks and I think we'll be fully trained. He knows the sit command and his name very well. He shark teeth are sharp but his brother Kenan is teaching him more gentle play. He loves eating and he's learning to walk on a leash but his favorite thing to do is play with his brother Kenan. We've never had two dogs, it's been a busy 4 weeks but our family feels so complete now with Archie. Today at the vet, Archie got his 2nd round of parvo shots and the vet said he looks terrific. He is 17.3 lbs of pure love and the world's best cuddles.

We can't wait to see how he grows and develops over the next 4 weeks! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be Vizsla parents again!

Hi Bo,

Monday Maisie got her second round of shots and had a great checkup. She weighs 15 #.

Maisie is an amazing little girl! Learning fast and fitting right in with our pack, she and Murphy are almost inseparable. She is quite a mischievous little girl, she likes to chew (sometimes on things she shouldn’t) and she loves to climb, we’ve caught her on top of an end table as well a her crate (naughty girl). So far she is afraid of nothing!

Good afternoon,

Lotus visited the vet this morning and we were able to get her weight at 13.5 lbs.

She also received two vaccines — DPV (Canine Distemperparvovirus) and the Bordatella (Kennel cough)

In three weeks time we will return to the vet to get a DPV booster, and the first leptospirosis vaccine. Then we have one more scheduled in 6 weeks for additional shots including the rabies.

Let me know if you need any additional information, she is a joy for the family!

Honey is as sweet as honey! She brings tons of joy and love everyday! Her favorite things to do are play with toys, go hiking, and fishing, play with friends and snuggling!She weighs 43-45lbs. Would love to get together with siblings in TX or CO

Hi Bo. Here are some pics of Brandy at 3 yrs old. She is a healthy 50 lb. LOVE BUG. Out of our two V’s she is the one that defines “Velcro dog”! Has to always be near her people. She’s confident and outgoing when we’re out and about, and likes to sit out under our covered patio with us to watch a storm roll through. Loves to hike the off-leash trails around Austin with our Vizsla pack, and sleep burrowed down under the covers in the human’s bed at night. She’ll take nothing less! Completely spoiled rotten.

Hope things are going well at the ranch. Thank God, it’s finally Fall!
