Bailey & Ollie are a sibling pair who joined us here at the Academy last week for our Home Away From Home program, and they’re already doing so well! They’ll be running off-leash on Nantucket with their parents in no time 💕 they’ll graduate with 100% reliable recall so they’ll be able to enjoy a lot more freedom! Our training is trust-based and builds off of teaching your dog to seek out eye contact, ask permission, make smarter decisions, and trust their humans to advocate for them. Sweet little Emma is our newest student and we’re in love with her already! 🥰 She’s joining us because her dad wants to be able to give her off leash freedom! She’s going to learn how to be a polite little lady and learn the rules for expelling that puppy energy in an appropriate way, without making her dad feel like he’s out of energy too! 😂🥰

Shine the spotlight on this superstar 🤩 Harley the hound mix is one lucky girl! This pup was recently adopted by her pawrents, who enrolled her in the Academy because they want Harley to be able to enjoy off leash freedom and be confident in their leadership and communication with her. Harley is a star pupil and loving our training games, she’ll be showing off for her family in no time!

Meet Dyamond! 💎 This recently adopted pup’s pawrents just welcomed a new baby to the family - so exciting! but a big change for Dyamond, who was resource guarding, leash pulling, and lacking in confidence. She’s joining us to learn obedience, build confidence, set boundaries and expectations, and to learn to trust the leadership of her humans. She’s already looking for engagement through eye contact, holding stationary positions, and working on a beautiful heel! 🥰

Home Away From Home graduate Sadie has been practicing with her family and doing amazing! She’s focused and trying her hardest to be the best girl, even around all of the pigs, ducks, chickens, bunnies, & machinery on their beautiful farmstead! We’re working on her fear of the pigs, she thinks they’re strange and alarming 😂 we’re sure Sadie, Violet, & Penelope will be friends in no time! 🐶🐷🐷
