Finished this portrait well before Christmas but couldn't share until now!

This was a Christmas commission I had to keep under wraps. Meet Winnie, a young Bernadoodle I groom! In the past, I've done her sister and predecessor, but now that she's in the family, they needed a portrait to hang with them!

Meet Dezi! Dezi is a nine year old (almost) golden retriever. Like so many of her breed, she is wildly friendly, energetic, and goofy. But her unparalleled love for tennis balls makes it hard for her to stand still long enough to capture her image!

Just finished this pet portrait today!

Just finished this portrait of Jake, an Alaskan Malamute. jake is a success story, advancing from a street dog to a Canine Good Citizen in the space of a year. He enjoyed therapy work, traveling, and adventures. He loved people and was a faithful and loving companion to Tammy Smith.

Newest pet portrait!

Linda Roberts was kind enough to commission me to create this portrait of her beloved Buzz. Stubborn on paper as in life, Buzz did not want to be pinned down. While Coda virtually drew himself, Buzz fought me tooth and nail. At one point he was giving me so much trouble that I decided it was time to commit his belly to paper. After quite a bit of squirming, he stopped fighting me and sat still for my pencils to pin down the rest of him. And so, here he is.

New petportrait finished!

So I finished April Johnson's portrait of her dog Coda, so you know I have to show it off! By April's design and use of her photography, Coda is depicted as a pup, adult, and old man, commemorating his life with her.
