Poor Reya. She was way overdue for a haircut. One that costs more than my own by the way…One small mat is all it takes to get full on naked it seems if you’re a poodle. She will be wearing her holiday sweater tomorrow as temps dip below freezing. Poor baby.

Snoopy Snoop prefers to be feared. And he is, hence why there is only a plastic chicken coin purse (garage sale giveaway!) in this video instead of one of my girls. Patsy was the only one who was getting used to the cat. Bubble flew around the house like she was fighting for her life yesterday when the cat snuck up on her.

Going to try him in the cat harness again today to see if they can learn to be friends. Until then, he abuses this faux chicken 😆

Since Snoopy loves this little chicken and carries it around everywhere I’m naming it Woodstock.

Here’s a little history on Snoopy and Woodstock from The Peanuts:

💛1966: Snoopy starts hanging around with a random little yellow bird in the comic strip. No name, no backstory—just chaos in feathers.

💛1970: Schulz finally names the bird “Woodstock,” nodding to the 1969 music festival. (Yes: Snoopy’s BFF is literally named after the epic counterculture party in 1969).

💛1970s onward: Woodstock becomes Snoopy’s sidekick—tiny, unintelligible, loyal, anxious, constantly falling off things.

Patsy would have been the perfect Woodstock to our Snoopy Snoop based on this last line alone 😆

Had to chase three of these hawks out of the yard recently. This one has gotten quite big and doesn’t plan on going anywhere. It got tangled up with the crows today shortly after this, so I left them a ton of goodies. I hope they stick around! 🐦‍⬛

Sometimes you have to just get out of town and spend some time with your girlfriends. I did that this weekend and I’m feeling incredibly lucky to have many incredible women in my life. They are spread far and wide. But without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today. And being waited on has been quite lovely.

Tell those people in your life today how much they mean to you. However you do it best. I’m going to continue to watch PBS documentaries and go home to snuggle the only chicken who lets me touch her—Bubble.
