I threw patsy in a laundry basket (because who can find the carrier when you mid garage cleaning?) and drove 40 minutes last minute to have her checked out. Crop issues not resolving and the most bizarre soft shell egg I’ve ever seen was laid yesterday. Check my stories and tell me if you’ve ever seen anything like it!

This room is where I was told Chunk was gone. Then it was where I decided to put poor Lennon down. PTSD and anxiety is REAL.

I’m just in awe of her beauty. She’s the queen of the new girls and she is not afraid (now that she’s bigger) of the OGs, but she is respectful. She’s a bada$$ in every way. If you’ve been here a minute, you know my love of Cochins. She is no exception 💙💙💙.

🚨 New Layer Alert 🚨 I’ve never had an Orpington. Is this what their eggs look like? It doesn’t look like a Cochin egg, which tend to be lighter in my experience and definitely not blue, like an Ameraucana. So I’m guessing it’s a Patsy egg 🤘🫶

Australia.. A man there let a huge huntsman spider live in his house.
Despite their often large and hairy apearance, huntsman spiders are not considered to be dangerous spiders. As with most spiders, they do possess venom, and a bite may cause some ill effects. However, they are quite reluctant to bite, and will usually try to run away rather than be aggressive.
A huntsman spider has a terrifying reputation due to their size and speed. Aftr all, they are very large, very fast ambush hunters.
Huntsmen are quite beneficial spiders in many ways.
They're very fond of eating other creepy crawlies that we don't like having around the house, such as cockroaches, mosquitoes and flies, caterpillars, moths and other spiders, the reason the man let it live in his house.

Someone decided to go for a swim in the pool today! Thank goodness Rosie the dog alerted me while inside. I went to check and Bubble had flow out of an opening in their temporary enclosure and she was floating in the pool! She was not happy and quite cold. Ow we’re snuggled up warming up and going up for a blow dry shortly!
