It's World Budgie Day (aka parakeets)! And our very own Lemon recently celebrated his 20th hatch day! To celebrate, we are offering a one-time visit with a retro price! Look for Lemon's Celebration under packages!

60 dogs have come into our shelter over the past three days, and as of this morning, we have 551 dogs in the building. We need to bring this number to 518 or below by next Tuesday. Cheetah is just one of the hundreds of dogs in our care who we hope will find a loving family and life outside of our facility.

Please help us by adopting or fostering an animal in need from our shelter, as any dog leaving the building opens up much needed kennel space and brings us closer to our target population. All adoptions are currently $40 and will be FREE next week, from March 18 to 24. Visit us this weekend at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA, to be the LifeLine these pets urgently need.

Sasha is days away from being evicted. She was in a terrible car accident around Halloween and was hit by an uninsured motorist. She was not able to go to work for almost 6 weeks. And was not paid for time off!

She currently needs help with $2200 to avoid eviction. She has until Friday to make a payment.

It's National Bird Day, but every day around here is Bird Day! Meet Lemon, our founder's soon to be 20 years old parakeet! Lemon enjoys watching shark documentaries, playing on his playground, and an occasional millet spray!

The hits keep coming!!!

We got a very generous donation this week, and got many of our families covered for Christmas. But with people backing out daily on the families they had promised to cover, we still have families that need help with Christmas.

As of Wednesday, we still have 23 families that need help. Our goal is for new child to have an empty tree on Christmas morning. Even if it’s only a gift or two!!

Please consider donating, even if it’s $10. We do not mind doing the shopping or if you would like to take a child or family, please reach out to me.

Thank you to everyone who has provided a meal and/or donated to Anne Blanton Kolbl!
She is doing really well and is recovering splendidly! She has meals provided through Saturday. We are still raising funds to cover expenses for Anne and other employees of Brookhaven Barks.

Anne will be undergoing surgery to install a Spinal Cord Stimulator on Thursday, October 19th. This surgery will finally allow Anne to have massive relief to help with her chronic neurological pain. Our brand new Fulton County Animal Services facility will be opening soon! This upcoming transition, and the current overcrowded state of our shelters, we need to find homes for as many animals in our care as soon as possible. For the month of November, ALL adoptions at LifeLine shelters will be $25! We encourage you to visit us soon, fall in love, and bring home a new companion. Trial adoptions are available and are a great way to ensure you've found the best match for your home.

We have been approached to help spread the word of a sweet pup who is in need of a new home.
Meet Bugsy! Unfortunately, Bugsy's owner passed away in July and has been at a boarding facility since then. The family is unable to take him and have until Thanksgiving to get him out of boarding and find him a new home.
Some Facts about Bugsy:
-5 years old
-Has lived inside his whole life. Very friendly, but would do best in a home where he is the only dog.

If you or someone you know are interested in adopting Bugsy, please send us a message, and we will get you in touch with his temporary owner to discuss arrangements.
