We had our second annual holiday drill team performance this morning. The girls braved the rainy weather to put on a lovely performance. The horses were all adorable in their festive outfits, even if a bit wet and muddy!
A big thank you to Whitley for pulling this off and being such a fun coach for these kids, I know they all look forward to drill team time with you!

Stockings are hung for all of our sweet lesson horses. Don't be shy about showing them some love! They appreciate anything you would like to give them, from treats to body work and chiropractic care. They work so hard for us, the least we can do is treat them for the holidays.

Peppy and Ty would like to remind everyone not to forget our Christmas party this Saturday morning at 9:30! There will be breakfast snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate to enjoy while we watch our drill team perform, and games for all!
There will also be a white elephant gift exchange. Bring a gift (max $15) if you want to participate!

Save the date! December 14th at 9:30am will be our Christmas party and drill team performance. We hope to see everyone there!

Happy November everyone! We have some important dates to note:
This Wednesday, Nov. 6 will be the deadline for drill team. If you want to be at practice on Saturday you must have put down your deposit by Wednesday.
There will be NO LESSONS the week of Thanksgiving, Nov 25-29 and there will be no drill practice Saturday the 30th.

Show season has officially come to an end. We finished off with a show at our home arena and what started out as a brisk morning turned into a beautiful day. Everyone had great rides and it was so fun to see all the hard work these girls have put in all year pay off. Even better than that was seeing their love for the horse shine through. It's fun to win ribbons but at the end of the day it's about good horsemanship and sportsmanship, and I am so proud that our students understand that.
Now to start setting goals for the spring!

We are also bringing back our very popular drill team that will perform at the Old Mill Christmas Party! Drill practice will meet once a week starting in November.

I need some people to load, unload, and stack some hay bales for us. If you’re looking to make some extra money this weekend let me know! We will be moving between 2-300 bales…twice. Looking for 2-3 people.

It was a long but very fun and successful weekend at the Golden Circle Horse Show! This was the biggest show most of these girls had ever participated in and they all handled it so well. There was so much valuable experience gained and I think every one of them came home a better horse person.
