Save the date! December 14th at 9:30 will be our Christmas party and drill team performance. We hope to see everyone there!

Happy November everyone! We have some important dates to note:
This Wednesday, Nov. 6 will be the deadline for drill team. If you want to be at practice on Saturday you must have put down your deposit by Wednesday.
There will be NO LESSONS the week of Thanksgiving, Nov 25-29 and there will be no drill practice Saturday the 30th.

Show season has officially come to an end. We finished off with a show at our home arena and what started out as a brisk morning turned into a beautiful day. Everyone had great rides and it was so fun to see all the hard work these girls have put in all year pay off. Even better than that was seeing their love for the horse shine through. It's fun to win ribbons but at the end of the day it's about good horsemanship and sportsmanship, and I am so proud that our students understand that.
Now to start setting goals for the spring!

We are also bringing back our very popular drill team that will perform at the Old Mill Christmas Party! Drill practice will meet once a week starting in November.

I need some people to load, unload, and stack some hay bales for us. If you’re looking to make some extra money this weekend let me know! We will be moving between 2-300 bales…twice. Looking for 2-3 people.

It was a long but very fun and successful weekend at the Golden Circle Horse Show! This was the biggest show most of these girls had ever participated in and they all handled it so well. There was so much valuable experience gained and I think every one of them came home a better horse person.

Day 4 of intermediate/advanced camp was AMAZING! Please accept this teaser photo from your exhausted instructor, a massive photo dump will be coming later! 😂

Day two of intermediate/advanced camp was a success! The girls helped care for the horses in the morning, learned about types of jumps and jump courses, then headed to the outdoor arena for a group crossrails lesson. After lunch they cleaned bridles and learned how to take them apart and put them back together. After that they learned how to wrap legs with Rez, who was very content to nap in the crossties while they practiced!

We still have a couple of openings for our advanced camp next week! This is going to be a highly educational camp geared towards our more experienced teens and pre-teens. It will be a great time and a great experience!
