While this is good exercise for you and your furbaby, here are some things to keep in mind:
1️⃣ NYC streets can have harsh melting products during icy weather, please put boots on your pet, or use a wax product to prevent irritation and always wipe the feet after walks. 🐾
2️⃣ Avoid your pet licking/eating ice/snow, we don't know what could be in the precipitation. 🦠
3️⃣ Avoid the "puddles" on the street corners. Sometimes they are much deeper than they appear. 🕳️
4️⃣ It’s cold out! If you're layered up, your pet probably needs layers too, consider a sweater, fleece or jacket to keep your pet warm and comfortable during walks on frigid days. 🥶
5️⃣ It may be cold, but water is still important. Keep your pet hydrated by providing fresh water at all times. 💦
