Katy Equine Clinic is HIRING: We are looking for an AUSTIN area Technician or Veterinary Assistant to start immediately. Must have solid equine experience and be able to competently handle and jog for our veterinarians. Tech experience is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate will have full-time availability (the position is largely Monday-Friday). Well paid with health benefits. Please contact the office at 281-391-8250.

Join us in welcoming the newest member of our Team of Veterinarians: Kai DeVoglaer, DVM! Dr. DeVoglaer is a 2023 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is not only an excellent veterinarian, she is a fantastic horseman and rider! While Dr. DeVoglaer will be primarily stationed in the Austin area, over the next few months she will be working alongside Dr. Stone while she gets to know our wonderful clientele and their fabulous horses!

We are growing! Good news - as many of you know we are sharing time in both the Austin and Houston areas, with an occasional stop in the Metroplex. Our team of Doctors is expanding (more on that later). We are adding to our commitment in the Austin area by increasing our availability. Please call 281-391-8250 if your horses have needs so that we may help you meet them!

It seems that we are still recovering from Hurricane Beryl, and while we are back in the office (with power) our office phone line is still down. Dont’t worry - we can be reached at 281-743-1726 by call or text! Our office phones should be functioning by the end of day. If you do call our regular number, the answering service will forward us messages.

UPDATE: As of this morning, Wednesday July 10th, Katy Equine Clinic is still without power. If you have an emergency, please call our office and our answering service will get a hold of our doctors for you.

Due to the weather conditions, our office is temporarily closed. Thank you for your understanding. Please be safe out there!

This past weekend Dr William Stone had the honor of presenting at the Texas Veterinary Medical Association in Dallas. His points of discussion included developing an intuitive strategy to performance evaluation, tactics for diagnostic anesthesia, and imaging decisions based on diagnostics. He went on to lead a useful dialogue regarding orthobiologics and regenerative therapy. This included mechanisms of action and reliable strategies for use in the equine patient. Power point slides are available to those interested.
