"Okay guys....what's going on here today?"
Spunky boy!!! Feeling good.
Pie, being a very nice stallion today! No crazy behavior.
Happy Valentine's Day from one gorgeous stud!!!!
Wayyyyy took windy today for Pie!!
Today was Pie's first day , off the rope, in the arena..FREE. we gave him 20 minutes to graze and he.was completely calm, until a branch spooked him. Then his mind took him back to the track.
We have had several off the track thoroughbreds...it takes a very long time to retrain their thinking, but when it kicks in, they are the smartest trail horses ever.
Pie has been on stall rest for 5 weeks. His vet check wasn't completely positive, but not completely negative either. His leg should healing 60-90 days. His racing days are over...but Pie will continue to bring smiles to everyone in the near future. It's His appointed season ( Jeremiah 8:7) here with us. In this video, he was telling us, I gotta get out of this stall!
Best treat to top the day off! A big molasses/ mineral lick.
