We hope you and your pets stayed safe during the hurricane.

Unfortunately, our animal hospital is without power and we have sustained some water damage. Therefore, we cannot safely open tomorrow to see our appointments. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and plan to be open Monday for normal business hours.

If you had a scheduled appointment for tomorrow, you will receive a separate communication regarding rescheduling.

Due to Hurricane Milton, our office will be closed on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10. Our hope is to be back open normal business hours, Friday, October 11. If you currently have an appointment scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday, our staff will be in touch with you to reschedule.

The safety of our staff, clients and furry patients are always top priority to us. Due to the upcoming storm approaching us, we will be closed on Thursday, September 26th.

A big congratulations to Dr. Cameran!

She received a citizen’s award from Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Earlier this year in April, Dr. Cameran performed an emergency surgery on one of the working K9’s from the sheriff’s office who suffered from an intestinal blockage. She went above and beyond in ensuring he would make a full recovery.

We’re so happy to get to work along side such a caring and wonderful veterinarian!

August is Itchy Pet Awareness Month. Dermatitis is one of the top reasons for veterinary visits. Itchiness can be caused by a few different things such as allergies or an infection.

Signs of allergic itch:
* Frequent licking, chewing, biting or scratching
* Excessive rolling, rubbing or scooting
* Recurrent ear problems
* Hair loss
* Body odor
