NOW AVAILABLE - Limited Space, Time, & Equipment Workouts for the whole year. Inexpensive New Year's resolution for your K9 partners. On the 1st of each month, a new routine will be added indicating what equipment is needed so you know before you purchase. Same equipment is used for all exercises in workout with none to minimal changes in setup to reduce time it takes to complete the workout.
Cost is $10 for the workout or you can prepay for the entire year for $84 (12 workouts and you will automatically have access each month). See attached for additional info on the first workout.

Fitness swimming is a high intensity training which is why it is important for dog's to have the correct gait when swimming. The thoracic limbs are for direction and swimming while the pelvic limbs are for propulsion (such as powering out to retrieve a toy). Using a canine life jacket/life vest when swimming for fitness allows the dog to move correctly by keeping the back level with the water and engaging a 4 paw paddle rather than swimming at an angle with pelvic limbs further under water while thoracic limbs are splashing around. A jacket/vest also improves muscle growth as it provides extra resistance by having to generate more power to swim forward.

Water Safety Tips:
-Dogs can still overheat in water if outside temps are extreme.
-Hydrate after swimming.
-Feed dehydrated or freeze dried food/treats to absorb excess water in stomach.
-Use a toy that is thin to minimize the amount of water digested.
-Water temps too cold could result in cold tail/swimmer's tail. Water temp + ambient air temp should = 100.
