Lorraine's Horse Rescue

We are an orginazation (non-profit) that rescues mistreated or neglected horses We are non-profit and not government funded. We do not buy or sell these horses.

Our facility takes in abused, abandoned, neglected, old and sick horses, get them back in good health, and find them new, forever homes. We accept donations from people and businesses. The horses are brought here by the owners or people who have acquired them and are unable to give them the proper care that they need. We give the horses the nutrition, hoof and health care they need, and when a hor

se is ready to be placed, we find them a good, caring home. Some people give a donation when they take a horse. It is always appreciated,but never required. The only requirement in getting one of our horses is having a place to put the horse, the means to feed and care for it and the time to give them the love and attention that they have come accustomed to getting here. We hope you find this website enjoyable and informative. The information is gathered through experience, talking with other people that own horses, books and the internet.
