I have not been posting updates on the litters, however I have some news to share!
Jill has given me a surprise litter of 5.
Born 1/31/2022
She was separated from the buck before she had her last litter; however rabbits have been known to breed through cages, and have also been known to have two pregnancies at once.
Which of these occurred, I do not know. However they all look healthy and fed, as well as her older litter who is now 1 month old.
Extra bananas for Jill!

Spotlight hour for my oldest doe, Morgan!
Morgan is the last rabbit I have from my original Lilac trio. She is my oldest and has earned her retirement place here with me. Now Morgan acts as the peacekeeper between all the younger does. She also helps to watch over nests and babysits the little ones.

Here are Jill, and Fredricka lounging together.
This is the first time I've had two does successfully together while either pregnant or nursing.
Jill is nursing her litter of 4, Fredricka is pregnant and ready to pop.
Judging by Fredricka's look, she is uncomfortable, and due any day now!
