Small Animal Services Brooksville Veterinary Clinic is a full service small animal veterinary clinic specializing in preventive care and client education.

We offer vaccinations, parasite treatment and prevention, nutrition and diet consultations, digital radiology, in-house blood work, surgery and dentistry. We also have a dedicated kennel staff for boarding and baths.

Hurricane Milton Update:

We have reopened! Our phone lines and internet have been restored. We will be seeing patients as regularly scheduled. If your appointment was missed yesterday during the closure, we will be reaching out today to get your pet rescheduled!

Please note that the city of Brooksville has been placed on a boil water notice. So we ask clients to bring water for their pets during their appointments as we have limited water here in clinic at this time.

Important Hurricane Milton Update:

Brooksville Veterinary Clinic will be closed Thursday, October 10th, 2024 due to damages sustained by Hurricane Milton. At this time, our phones are down and we are unable to access patient files. We are expecting to reopen on Friday, October 11th, 2024 at 7:30 AM. If you had an appointment scheduled with us today, we apologize for this inconvenience. We will reschedule your appointments as soon as we reopen. We hope everyone stayed safe during the storm! We will continue to send updates as we can.

🚨 Important Information: Hurricane Helene Update 🌀

Brooksville Veterinary Clinic has been closely monitoring updates on Hurricane Helene. We do not make this decision lightly, however, for the safety of our Staff, Clients & Patients, we will be CLOSED Thursday, September 26th, 2024.

We are expecting to resume our normal business hours on Friday, September 27th, 2024 at 7:30 AM.
Stay tuned to our page for any changes and further updates!

The BVC team would like to encourage all pet owners during their hurricane preparations to ensure they have the following for their pets:

✅ Up-to-date Rabies Certificate or other Vaccine reminder documents - This is required by most evacuation shelters
✅ Identification Collars/Tags on their pets with contact information. If you do not have this on your pet, we recommend using a sharpie on their collar as an alternative.
✅ Your pets’ food, water and medications - we encourage at least a weeks worth.
✅ Leashes/Harness/Slip Leashes
✅ Comfort items, like special blankets or toys as this can be just as stressful for our pets as it is for us.
✅ Have a travel crate or carrier set up and ready for emergency travels.
