Lajuf Shows at Fannin Hill Farm

It is with heavy hearts that we relay the passing of Judith Fannin.

We miss her, but are happy and content that her suffering is over and that she will be reunited with her beloved and will get Heaven organized for the rest of us.

She passed in her sleep in the hospital after a very brief stay.

In the next few days there will be a memorial site at dignitymemorial.com/obituaries where everyone can share memories.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at Fannin Hill Farm on January 11, 2025, 3pm-5pm.

Due to the Ridge Manor Community Center hosting the Hurricane Flood Relief efforts, the LAJUF Year End Awards banquet has moved back to our previous venue. Directions will be posted at the show office.

As you may know due to weather there have been changes to the schedule. Some of you have expressed concerns over the jumping rounds. The courses will be shortened for some of the classes from 8 fences to 4 fences to help spare the school ponies and any horses in multiple divisions Saturday. No changes to jumpers on Sunday as of yet

Due to incoming weather, the majority of the classes for the upcoming October show will run on Saturday. Many classes have been moved from their normal ring/day and Ring B will start at 8am on Saturday. The jumper classes are currently expected to run on Sunday, however, if the ring condition becomes unsafe they will be canceled. The updated schedule has been posted on the horse show website. We will keep you posted if anything else changes.

It has been brought to our attention that a rumor is circulating regarding LAJUF coming to an end. This is only a rumor, someone found an old post for the final combined training event and mistook for the hunter/jumper/dressage show. So please put your minds at ease. The Lajuf Shows at Fannin Hill Farm will continue! We hope to see everyone next fall. Have a great and safe summer.

Attention April LAJUF Competitors!!!!

A Horse show Dad accidentally put the bag of ribbons in the wrong car. We now have some very sad kids. The car was a charcoal colored car parked by the restroom. If you own the car that was parked there or know the person who does can you please look for a bag of ribbons. Let's get them back to the kids.
