We had a fabulous weekend at the Battle of the Breeds. Saturday and Sunday were so busy I never had a chance to jump my Dutch Shepherds so I couldn't help support the breed! Here is how the placements ended! My biggest thanks to everyone who came out to have fun, support their breeds and play at K9 Splash Zone!

It's our favorite Dock Diving Event of the year: THE BATTLE OF THE BREEDS!Come join us at K9 Splash Zone in Brookville, OH for the Second Annual Battle of the Breeds August 23-25, 2024 + NADD Dock Diving Event. Gather your Teams and get ready for the ultimate Battle of the Breeds! We will run this as a typical NADD Dock Diving event - you will still earn NADD legs towards titles - but in addition, we will group you into BREEDS and combine scores (best score for each dog goes into an average for the breed) and see which breed comes out the WINNER (it's all in good fun!) There must be two of a breed to be considered for the battle. So, what are you waiting for? Join us in making this event a rip-roaring success! Pre-registration is open until August 16th but we will have day of entries available! Last day of Summer Sizzle shots - now comes the long wait for pics - but it will be oh so worth it! I've tried to get Wise K9 Photography to come out to Ohio for years - she is a phenom - incredible photographer and incredible person! She stood out in the hot sun all four days and shot everyone's dogs - including mine - I can't tell you how many times I watch the photographer walk away when my dogs come up to jump (cuz they are always at the end) - and my young whippet had several personal bests and incredible jumps this weekend and I am so happy that I will have a picture to commemorate! Thank you so much for coming out Wise K9 Photography. And Kovu says he'd love to join Batty Boot camp - so anytime you want to drop him off, he is welcome!

I'm so EXCITED to share this news with you! We have a TREAT for you! I've been trying to get Shelby Wise of Wise K9 Photography to come shoot for me for years and she finally agreed! She will be our photographer for our K9 Splash Zone's NADD Dock Diving Qualifier in Brookville, OH July 4-7, 2024 AND she has even offered to do private Mini Sessions on Thursday and Monday!
On Thursday, July 4th, she will be doing mini sessions from 8-10:40 (schedule to be posted soon) $75/20minutes of dock time, all pictures returned from that
And again on Monday if there is enough interest!
