Temps are on the rise so here's a warm weather reminder! Temperatures inside a parked car can skyrocket within minutes, leading to heatstroke or even death. Even with the windows cracked, the heat can be unbearable. Protect your furry friends by leaving them at home or bringing them with you into pet-friendly places.
Warm weather reminder! Some breeds, such as bulldogs, are more susceptible to heat stroke on these warm spring and summer days. Visit https://jeffersonanimalclinic.com/pet-health-resources/pet-health-articles/articles/?rid=775 to learn about prevention, symptoms and treatment recommendations if your pet becomes overheated.

Golden Retriever Zoey, owned by team member Laura, just turned 12! As our beloved pets age, they need extra care and attention to maintain their quality of life. Senior dogs and cats benefit from regular veterinary check-ups to monitor for age-related health issues, such as arthritis, diabetes, and kidney disease. Adjusted diets, regular exercise, and preventive care are essential to keep them comfortable and happy in their golden years.
Zoey is also one of our Librela success stories and gets her monthly injection to help reduce arthritis pain and keep her active.

As you all know fleas and ticks are absolutely horrible in our area and we spend a large amount of time educating our clients about the flea life cycle. The adult fleas that you see on your pet are only the tip of the iceberg. What you don't see are the larvae, pupae and eggs that live in your carpet, hardwood floors and furniture. Once fleas are in your home they can be a challenge to get rid of and this video shows you the Dirty Truth of why. Using a product YEAR ROUND that kills fleas is your best defense!
