Bee keeping is no joke! 🐝
Cold weather can have a huge impact on the hive. You must keep a close eye on weather changes. Here you will see at 35degrees they are wrapped in insulated foam board. When temps drop in the 20s we needed to add an extra layer to keep those little girls warm! I’m grateful I’ve had the opportunity to learn so much about bee keeping and help out, but i think I’ll stick to supporting my neighbor and local farmers market for my honey 🍯 🐝

I was alarmed when I first saw dead bees laying around the hive. Nope there’s a Bee for that. 🐝🐝

One of the most fascinating aspects of beekeeping is watching the numerous activities of the colony. There are bees that build wax; nurse bees to take care of the babies; field bees to collect water, propolis, pollen and nectar; bees to make honey; guard bees to protect the hive; and undertaker bees who clean the hive of carcasses.🐝

Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

Hello, My name is Carrie and I live in Broomfield (Anthem) Colorado. I would love the opportunity to take care of your animals or walk your dog(s). I have 5 plus years of experience, caring for a variety of different types of animals. I am Insured * Bonded * Background checked, a member of Pet Sitters International and Pet CPR certified. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your animals. I promise to treat and care for your animals as if they were my own.

My love for animals started when I was a little girl. I was an only child who grew up on a farm in NH, all my animals were my closest friends. Animals, especially dogs have always been a part of my life.

My husband and I have a huge heart for animals. We have rescued and fostered animals in our home. We have 3 awesome dogs Sasha (our rescue) 9 yr old Ridgeback, Piper 3 yr old French bulldog, our newest addition Ozzy 1year French bulldog and Daisy 1yr old hamster. My family and I love spending time with our dogs outside, on camping trips and after a day of skiing it’s the dogs turn to run up and down the slopes.

If you're interested in keeping your pets in the comfort of their own home while you're away on vacation, business trips, weekend getaway or long work days. I would love the opportunity to pet sit or take your dog out for a nice long walk.
