Such a fun day at Sagewood Stables! Did not get around to taking all the pictures I wanted to, but that happens when you get busy with parade and unicorn rides. Thank you to everyone that worked together to make this a great experience! Please feel free to add your pics.

***Sagewood Stables' Barn Boo Bash***
***October 26th starting at 3pm***

Dress up in your halloween best and come trick or treating from your favorite Sagewood resident horses and ponies and help us crown our best dressed teams. We will have music, games, treats, raffles and a whole lot of fun and photo opportunities.

Halloween horse parade will start without delay at 3:30pm after which teams will be at their respective stations to hand out treats to our little ghouls and goblins.

Our resident unicorn (Peter Pan) will be providing treats in the form of unicorn rides.

Admission for trick or treaters:
$5
Admission with unicorn rides:
$10

And so all good things must come to an end. Thank you to each and every one contributing to the success of Sagewood camps. This year’s camps have been a blast! Looking forward to seeing everyone again for the next ones (hopefully we will add in some more winter camps this year..).

Week 3 is a wrap! Rain stayed away to make room for a fantastic show put on by these kiddos. So thankful for the opportunity. Cannot believe we only have 2 weeks of camp left..

Week 2 is a wrap 🎉. One of the most fun weeks I’ve had the privilege of hosting (and I have had some incredibly fun weeks). The ability of these riders to muster through the grueling heat and put on an amazing show for their families was inspiring to say the least.

Camps are Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 3pm
Price: $675 per week
Deposit: $350
No spots will be held without deposits

Dates:
July 1 - 5 (no camp on 7/4) - $550 (sold out)
July 8 - 12 (sold out)
July 15 - 19 (1 spot left)
July 22 - 26 (sold out)
July 29 - August 2 (sold out)

One additional week might be added, but spots are extremely limited this year. All camps will be for all levels and we have a no rider held back policy. Every camper will be taught on their individual skill level. We look forward to another amazing summer.

Sagewood Stables will be hosting Spring Break camps this year from 4/1 - 4/5.

Beginners: 9am - 12pm
Intermediates: 1pm - 4pm

Every session will include daily riding and horse related activities.

Cost: $350 per session ($200 deposit, $150 due before start of camp)

Spots are extremely limited and will not be secured without a deposit.

With a heavy heart we share that The Urban Farm experienced a break-in and theft this week. If the items are not recovered, the replacement value of the stolen equine equipment will total over 22K dollars.

Any financial donations made between Friday 11/24 and Monday 11/27 will go to replacing stolen equine tack, required to run our programming (unless otherwise specified).

TUF also greatly appreciates the donation of any new or lightly used equine tack, specifically: saddles, bridles, girths, stirrups, stirrup pads, saddle pads, bits, and stirrup leathers designed for English, Hunter Jumper and Dressage riding. You can drop off donations on Saturdays 9am -1pm, Monday -Thursday 9am-3pm, or by scheduling an alternative time-- please email [email protected] to do so.

TUF has contacted local used tack stores to keep an eye out for the stolen items. But please share with your equine network (Most of TUF's saddles have brass tags with numbers adhered to the back of the saddles-- this is unique to us. We will share images of the stolen equipment in our instagram story and via email).

We are working on an insurance claim, however since a majority of the equipment was over 7+ years old and/or donated it is unlikely we will receive the full funds necessary to replace the equipment.

We are hiring!

We have a part time position (two days a week for either 3 or 6 hours a day) opening up at Sagewood Stables in Broomfield, CO. We are interviewing for a hardworking individual to join our crew. Must be punctual, reliable and have experience with and around horses. Duties include, but is not limited to, feeding, mucking, turnout, basic barn cleaning, grounds maintenance (mowing, weeding). Must have the physical ability to do the job at hand, involving heavy lifting. Reliable transportation a must. This is not a riding position at this point.

Pay dependent on experience, productivity and quality of work. Starting pay @ $16.50 per hour.

Summer Camp Dates are here 🎉🎉

Now accepting registrations. Camps are filling up, so please confirm availability when registering. Please email us at [email protected] and we will send over all information and registration forms.

All camps (with the exception of 5/30) are $650 Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm.
Age requirement: 6 and up (exceptions will be considered on individual basis).

Beginner/Advanced Beginner Camps (this is for everyone that has never touched a horse before up to anyone already trotting fairly independently):

5/30 - 6/2 (4 day camp reduced to $575 for the week - sold out)
6/12 - 6/16 (sold out)
6/26 - 6/30 (sold out)
7/10 - 7/14 (sold out)
7/24 - 7/28
8/7 - 8/11

Intermediate Camps (this is for our confident riders that are either already cantering around or ready to start doing so - campers need to be able to tack up fairly independently or at least be ready to learn to do so):

We are having Spring Break camps this year 🎉🎉

We are offering two weeks of camp to accommodate different school districts.

3/20-3/24
3/27-3/31

Beginner camps will be 9-12
Intermediate camps will be 1-4

Every day will consist of fun horse related activities and one well thought out horseback riding lesson, customized to each rider’s ability and goals.
Spots are extremely limited (only 10 per session) so let me know ASAP if you are interested with an email that I can send forms to.
Camps will be $375 for the week.
No spots can be held without deposit.
These camps will also be a great precursor to our very popular summer camps.
