This week we're highlighting our new jerky treats by OTIS, a local company out of Hayden, CO. OTIS is pretty amazing for a variety of reasons, but we're proud to sell their treats because for every bag purchased they donate $1 to supporting medical dog programs. This past year they donated $25,000 to Children's Hospital Colorado's Medical Dog Program!

Boba has been coming to see his groomer Koley since 2022 and this week he came in to get fancied-up for his pawrents' wedding! 🫧SELF-WASH PUPDATE🫧

Our self-wash will now only be open from Saturdays to Mondays, effective immediately! With all of our exciting grooming additions, our new groomers will be utilizing this space during the week. As always, our self-wash will be first come, first serve and we will still supply all shampoos, conditioners, tools & towels.

The hours are as follows:
Saturday: 10 am - 5:30 pm
Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm
Monday: 10 am - 6 pm

Meet Arthur, the goldendoodle! Arthur is one of our precious regulars and has the cutest face. Mom brings him in every 5 weeks for either a haircut or a face, feet & f***y appointment. We recommend coming in on a regular 4-6 weeks schedule to all of our doodle owners to keep their coats healthy, lush, and long! We are officially expanding our grooming salon!

What does this mean?
We have added two new groomers to our team, and so are spreading out into our self-wash area. That means starting mid-August, our self-wash area will be closed Tuesdays - Fridays. And on top of it all, we are officially adding cat grooming to our services! 🐈

This has been our dream for years, and we are so excited to finally be able to achieve it! We can't wait for you to meet our new groomers!

This week we are putting sweet Evie, a rough collie, under the spotlight. Evie's dad asked our groomer Ashley to tightly trim up her coat for their summer adventures. 🎆PRODUCTS OF THE WEEK🎆

We all know that Goat's Milk is a great source of pre & probiotics, which help support a healthy gut biome. OC Raw has taken their unpasteurized goat's milk 3 steps forward, providing 3 separate recipes that all have incredible additional benefits.

🎆🐾 Tips to Prepare Yourself and Your Pup for the Fourth of July 🐾🎆

The Fourth of July is a fun time for us, but it can be stressful for our furry friends. Here are some tips to keep your pup calm and safe during the festivities!

STARTING TODAY:
- If your pup does best on CBD or you plan on giving CBD to them for the fireworks, start administering their daily dose today so it has time to build in the system!

- If you prefer calming medication, call your vet today to get their prescription in!

- Update your pet's ID tag and if they have a microchip, update that information, as well

- Check your backyard for any possible holes or escape routes!

- Set up a safe, cozy space where you know your pet can relax - add cushions and blankets for extra

- Invest in puzzle toys like KONG or Woof Pupsicles to distract them during the fireworks!

THE DAY OF:
- Excercise your pup early in the day so they're tired before the fireworks

- If you're using CBD, give the first dose in the morning and prepare to give the second dose before the sun goes down! Once your furbaby is anxious, it'll take longer for the CBD to metabolize in the system.

- If you're using other calming aids, follow the directions as prescribed - usually, this means administering the aid 30-45 minutes before the fireworks

- Put your furbaby in their safe space with their puzzle treats and leave them at home if you're going to a show or a party!

- Staying at home? Give your furbaby lots of cuddles and treats. Sit in their safe space with them. Turn on music or the TV to block out any noise.
