Do Over Dogs is a 501(c)(3) Colorado foster-based organization that rescues at-risk shelter dogs.

Do Over Dogs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that gives at-risk shelter dogs a second chance at life. As a rescue, our main priority is to save dogs and puppies from 'death row' and eventually place them in forever homes. These sweet pups come from awful backgrounds-full of abuse, neglect and sadness. Our goal is to rehabilitate these animals, and place them into homes that allow them to feel like a family member rather than a yard ornament or prisoner.

Meet ATLAS! 🌎💚💙🩵💚💙🩵

This 18lb, adorable little mutt is ready to find a furever family🥰

Atlas is roughly 3 years old, and spent the first couple years of his life running the streets of Clovis, NM as a stray. Rather than ending up at the shelter, he got his ticket to Colorado to become a house dog 🏠 Atlas took quickly to couches, dog beds, and blankets- luxuries he never knew existed!

Atlas is almost fully potty trained, 100% crate trained, and does very well on a leash. He is an easy going guy that has become a lovely lap dog, throughly enjoying snuggles with his foster mommy. She has not heard him bark once yet!😳

The cutest thing about Atlas (next to his face!) is the little happy dance he does when excited🥰 He also LOVES to go on hikes!

Atlas is a shy pup, who has done well with foster doggy and kitty siblings.
He will be best matched with a patient adopter, willing to go at his pace. Atlas is timid around strangers, and would love a family that will continue his socialization and building his confidence.

🌴 Coconut moved in a couple of weeks ago and has been working on all the tedious new foster camp stuff: where the toilet is, what time meal hall opens, what this leash thing is, and who these humans are outside of her foster family. She was immediately enrolled in the “Coconut, come, sit, down, and stay” training program and is making progress. Like most puppies, Coconut’s motivation to succeed in this program is a tad foreign - without snacks, performance drops to almost zero!

Coconut is sweet and ever-present. Some may call her a shadow or even a stalker, but she just wants to be close because she cares. Whether you’re heading to the kitchen, cooking, or thinking of sitting on the couch, Coconut will be there simultaneously. She even loves to sleep face-to-face, preferably touching.

Coexisting with her foster family is her superpower. In the name of being well-rounded, she absolutely loves to play with her foster pup sisters, all the toys, and has been working on improving her human meet-and-greets - slowly but surely, she’s making strides. Coconut has also been working on her crate training, which is a work in progress. While it’s not on her list of favorite pastimes, she’s getting good at it!

If you know someone who would love a comical, sweet-loving girl, Coconut is adoptable! She’s around 5-6 months old, spayed, microchipped, and current on shots. She would thrive with or without a pup sibling. Coconut’s adoption fee is $400 ❤️🐾

You’ve seen pictures of her, but its time to meet her:

🌻 Blanca has been getting real comfortable in her foster home and has located all the amenities and made note of important routines. She knows what time meals are had, where the treats are, and exactly where the toy stash is. And she’s getting the hang of where the potty area is.

This sugar monster has been introduced to quite a few unfamiliar activities. On hikes, Blanca’s adorable looks would grab the attention of various humans who were not her foster human, and in order to broaden her horizons, the invite would be welcomed. Although her preference is to walk beside or underneath her foster human or right beside her foster brother Trout (despite the “dangers”), she is slowly warming up to the idea of outsiders and will take extra kindly to you if a treat is with the exchange.

Although Blanca is a bit of a stage 4.5 clinger (in the best way possible), she also practices time alone with her thoughts each day in her crate while her foster parents are at work. Every puppy is particularly skilled at something. Besides being a very good clinger, Blanca’s superpower is sleeping through the whole night (either in her crate or in bed with you - crate is a distant second choice if you ask her), and her endless tail wags always make you feel so incredibly special.

Blanca LOVES other dogs and has been around a cat that she just shrugs her shoulders at and it carries on. Blanca is one of the sweetest, most loving little girls. She is ready to love her humans (kids included) and truly knows how to make you feel like you are the most important thing in the entire world. If you’re ready for love, you’re in the right place. This handsome little gent didn’t even have a chance to show his adorable face to the world 🌎 His foster family fell in love with him INSTANTLY! They were supposed to foster Dottie, and once we had figured another foster for her- they were a little sad….so we rescued a pup from Clovis for them instead, and my goodness was this FATE! Petie was adored from the moment his mommy laid eyes on him. He now has two Do Over Dogs brothers, and two loving furever parents💚 happy tails, Petie boy!!!

🚨URGENT! Colorado fosters needed to save puppies lives💔🚨 These two puppies were dumped in a woman’s front yard in Clovis, NM. She took them to the vet to be vaccinated, but desperately needs help finding rescue for them. They are currently being kept outside 🥵😢She has nicknamed them Duchess & Duke- they are roughly 4-5 months old, 25-30lbs, mix breed. They are very sweet- dog, cat and people friendly. We are 100% volunteer run and donation based, we do NOT have a shelter or facility. We rely on foster homes in order to save lives. Fostering is FREE! All supplies & medical are provided. Transport would be planned in two weeks if we can find homes for these incredibly deserving pups. Fostering literally saves the life of a dog in need.
