“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” – Nelson Mandela

I have so much love for this IEA team and their parents. This season was definitely a transition season for the TALLC IEA Team.

Each rider had their own version of peaks and valleys thru the season. They all handled it with poise and graceful. Rallying around one another with good/bad.

We came up short in some ways and were triumphant in others. Congrats to our Individual Regional Qualifiers:

High School:
🥳Lydia Martin- Varsity Inter Fences
🥳Isabel Elliott- Varsity Inter Fences & Flat
🥳Sadie Sandlin- Varsity Inter Fences
🥳Shelbie Harrod- JV Novice Fences & Flat

The Authentic IEA Team started off the new season on rock star vibes.

They came and slayed/ate it up beyond my expectations despite some minor bobbles. I guess that’s how you would say it.

The ribbons and placing are great but the compliments our team received were the real winning factors.

The Middle School Team is small & stealth 🥷. Those ladies held their own to bring some consistent points to the board. Finishing up respectively both days.

The High School Team is becoming birds of a feather 🪶. They all dealt with some adversity with their draws each day. All in all it helped them be 🥉 day 1 and res champs day 2.

Now to the bundles of thank you(s). Thank you to and for opening up your farm/show to us. Thank you to Jennifer and Susan for your superb craft skills for the girls goodie bags and fun stuff. Thank you to all the parents for allowing the riders to participate last weekend and be apart of the team.

Thank you to .equiinee for capturing some of these fun moments in the ring 🫶🏾

Now for more practices until our next couple of shows in November 🤠

It’s no better way to spend Labor Day weekend than at a horse show. We had a great time at the Russell Memorial Foundation Show.

All the ladies left the show with a feeling of accomplishment. The icing on the cake was that we all had fun together.

🤠Charis and Cola made their debut together at a rated show. They tackled the x-rails hunters and stayed consistent all weekend. Ending up with awesome ribbons.

🤠Jenna and Fresco continue to gain momentum after a well rest summer break. The pair ended winning a trip of the Low Ch/Ad Hunters and the Classic. Fresco ended up res champion in USHJA 2’6 Hunters as well.

🤠Becca and Limerick added another show to their belt together. The duo ended champion in Short/Long Eq division and 4th in their classic. A major comeback for Bec since January.

🤠Bekah and Blue continue to make strides with their partnership. They ended up
res champion of the Low Ch/Ad Eq division alongside many other great ribbons.

🎉Special shoutout to both Bekah and Becca on being apart of Saturday’s Undersaddle Invitational. They loved the experience for sure.

🙏🏾Special to horse mom gang for keeping fed and hydrated. We love and appreciate y’all so much. 🙏🏾

📯On to a quick reset to gear up for our first IEA show of the season this weekend. Whew but let’s get it TALLC IEA Team 🤜🏾🫡

What’s the month of August without a special trip to Wisconsin to judge one of my favorite horse shows. Seeing all my favorite ppl were the icing the cake.

Thank you Courtney and the whole Seoul Creek Family for opening up your farm to me. It’s always a blast judging for you all.

We didn’t get any selfies this go around because of all the memories we made. Plus Carter kept me young and on my toes per usual.

Can’t wait for next time. 🧀🐴🎉

Late recap: Returning from a quick Jay summer break-cation. We hit the ground running and jumped into the IEA mindset w/ a mini bootcamp.

The girls did some strength training prior to saddle time. They learned the in(s)/out(s) of show prep. Started with practicing the show packing, some horsemanship aftercare , course building, practiced their judging skills with me as their test dumbie. Plus building team camaraderie.

Special thank you to for opening up the farm to the team practice out of.

Thank you to .b.pugh & for your surprise guest expertise. So excited for you to conquer Penn State.

We are so excited for the upcoming season with some new riders we have this season. Stay tuned for what’s to come 📣🐴
