🐾 Meet Lucy! 🐾

Lucy is one of the last two sisters from a rescue mission that saved five girls who were actively being harmed by BBs and firecrackers. One of her sisters, Lady, even had BBs removed when her forever family took her to get spayed. Lucy has been in our care for over 247 days, and now she’s ready for a new adventure—a loving foster home or, even better, her forever family! ❤️

We adore Lucy! At around 40 lbs and a little under a year old, she's friendly with every dog and cat we introduce her to and absolutely loves playing—especially her canine friends! Lucy is kennel trained, walks well on a leash (except when she spots a friend; we're still working on that! 😂), and has never had an accident in her current foster home. We’re also helping her learn some basic commands!

Lucy is current on her vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and deworming. She has a spay and microchip appointment scheduled for December at Dehart Vet.

What great advice to take for anyone introducing a new pup to their home!

✨Puppies and TOO much freedom TOO soon!✨

Just like we don’t give toddlers the run of the house, we should not be too quick to give puppies access to the entire house.

Red is not only a puppy, but came from a bad rescue case as well. She has no idea how to behave in a house and would run rampant if she had the opportunity.

Red is (1) in a crate if I can’t watch her. Or (2) in this puppy pen while I’m working.

This will help Red learn the rules of the house while keeping her from practicing bad habits.

1) smaller confined areas will help with potty training, as dogs and puppy naturally would like to potty away from where they sleep

2) this helps her practice being calm in the house while outside is for playtime! 🎉

3) this helps start her on the things she can have (dog toys/ dog bed) while inhibiting to access the things she can’t have (the couch/ TV remotes, etc.)

4) keeps her and my house safe! 🥰

So don’t be too quick to give your puppy or dog too much freedom. We want to set them up for success!

Anthony, our sweet Red German Shepherd mix is in need of a new foster family—or even better, his forever home! Due to no fault of his own, Anthony is looking for a fresh start.

At just a young age, Anthony is still a puppy and will benefit from a bit of puppy training. He’s already doing great on a leash, is kennel trained, and has mastered the doggy door at his current foster home. Impressively, he never had an accident while at his previous foster’s!

Anthony is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations and deworming, and on monthly flea and tick prevention.

🌞 Good morning from PeacefulPaws Pups! Meet our youngest furballs, full of potential and ready for their forever homes! 💕 All of our pups are up-to-date on their shots, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and deworming. If they're old enough, they are already spayed/neutered!

**Luna** ❤️
Meet Luna, our 8-month-old medium-sized Terrier Mix! She thrives in the kennel with her chew toys and bones. 🦴 Luna can sit and stay on command, and she’s eager to learn new tricks! Her willingness to please makes training a breeze. She’s the last of her group of five puppies that joined us!

**Doobie** 💚
This laid-back guy is Doobie, the only boy in the group. He’s an estimated 6-month-old Shepherd Mix who loves his food and enjoys sunbathing. ☀️ You’ll notice his ears perk up when he’s excited or alerting you to something interesting! 🤨

**Marley** 💟
Marley came to us with Doobie and her sister Gwen (who has been adopted). This sweet girl, with her stunning merle coloring, is a rare beauty! Also estimated to be about 6 months old and a Shepherd Mix, Marley loves to lounge in our kiddie pool and would make an excellent lake buddy!

**Raven** 🐦‍⬛
Last but not least is Raven, the final puppy from Mama Arya’s litter at our rescue. This amazing 5-month-old pup excels at off-leash recall and stays close by your side in the yard. 🚀 She’s currently in the process of kennel training and has had zero accidents! Raven adores adult female dogs, so she’d thrive in a home where she has canine companions to play with!

Luna's spay went wonderfully! Just look at that smile—this sweet girl knows she won't have to deal with the drama of puppies! She IS the drama! 🐾🤣👏

After her procedure, she was sent home with some extra care: vitamins to help with her anemia and a course of antibiotics in addition to her ongoing treatment for demodex. We’re making sure she has everything she needs to thrive!

Frank's meeting with a potential adopter didn’t go as planned ☹️. Sometimes, the perfect fit takes time to find, and that's perfectly okay! It's vital to ensure that both you and your dog have a strong connection for a successful adoption.

Frank is still looking for his forever home! He’s a 1-year-old Black Mouth Curr mix, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. Frank has had a tough past and is working hard to rebuild his trust in humans after being abused and neglected. He’s skittish and needs a patient home that can give him the time and love he needs to blossom.
