Can anyone foster this sweet baby or want to adopt him? He was dumped, and a family took him in, but they are unfortunately unable to keep him. They believe he is about three months old, and we believe he is a yellow lab mix.

Glenda is a true gem—she's house-trained without barking, chewing, or accidents. Glenda is a 20 lbs 2-3 year old Mini Aussie. She does well in a busy household with toddlers and can handle all the hustle and bustle! While she settles in nicely to her kennel over time, she makes her feelings known when it's time to come and go! 🐾

Glenda gets along well with other dogs but is more of a “people dog” at heart. Glenda is the perfect match if you're seeking a loving companion for your family rather than just another playmate for your pup.

Our adoption fee includes her microchip, spay surgery, all core vaccinations, deworming, and HW/Flea/Tick prevention. It also includes a week's worth of food to help you integrate her into whatever food you desire to put her on. And her favorite toys to get you started on the right paw!

Earlier this evening, Hope took a turn for the worse. Her foster family immediately brought her to Chandler Veterinary. While her chest looked good, her body temperature was too low, and they had to perform emergency surgery due to internal bleeding. Sadly, Hope never woke up from the anesthesia.

Hope, you loved your “babies," cherished cuddling with your foster dad, and adored having your foster mama dote on you❣️
You were so loved, and you will be missed, our gentle soul

We are planning on tagging these three cuties soon. They are what’s left of the 9 dogs Athens did a cruelty seizure on.

There are 2 girls and 1 boy. All are under 25 lbs. The others we have tagged have all been easy to housebreak and kennel train.

What a great way to help the community cats in your area!❣️

Saturday, March 8, 2025, Adopt a Barn Cat, All About Fixin and Friends of the Animals are hosting our next Mega Spay Day for Community and Feral Cats.

We are staring down the barrel of kitten season so please don't let there be ANY reason why you can't get the kitties in your neighborhood spayed/neutered. Two generous donors are making it so that EVERYONE can afford to help.

$50 cover the cost for Spay/Neuter Surgery, rabies vaccination, ear tip, and pain meds. Additional charges for female cats in heat ($10) or pregnant ($20) or cryptorchid males ($20) will be applied. We have some sponsorships available based on need and colony size.

Each cat must arrive in a humane trap. One cat per trap. We have traps to loan you.

Surgeries are performed at Friends of the Animals located at 122 Old Gun Barrel Lane, Suite 8, Gun Barrel City, TX 75156.
Appointments are required. We will take appointments for 100 cats. You can message us through Facebook to schedule an appointment.

Arrival times will be scheduled between 5:30am and 8:30. Cats will be ready to go home once they're awake - generally between 11am and 2:00pm

Glenda and Doobie need a new foster, or even better, a forever home, TODAY! Their foster messaged us, explaining that she could no longer foster them and needed to return them today!

They don't have to go together. Glenda has an appointment to be spayed on the 17th at VMCA. And Doobie is neutered and 100% ready to go to his forever home.

We provide everything you may need for their care, including kennels, food, toys, treats, etc. Please get in touch with us if you're interested!

Raven is recovering very well from her spay surgery!! Raven has been with us for over 10 months, during which time we watched her grow and learn. Mama (her mom) taught her to play so well. She really made herself a play partner who could keep up with her.

We really can't wait for this beauty to find her forever family. She is UTD on her shots, microchipped, and now spayed!

Raven gets along with cats, other dogs, and kids. She walks well on a leash, is kennel-trained. We would say she is almost housebroken but still occasionally has accidents.

Dimple's vet appointment went great!

This little sweetie weighs 6 lbs now! She is on dewormer and has an appointment next week to get her next round of shots (including her rabies). She did fabulous in the car, and Dimple loved getting her first pup cup on the way home as well.❣️

Dimple is an 11-week-old Rat Terrier Mix. Her parents weigh 20-25 lbs, so we expect her to stay small. She is UTD on her shots, microchipped, and currently on dewormer. She is more than ready to go to her foster or forever home! If you are interested in Dimple, please message us.
