We are hiring!
Open position for Pet Care Technician!
Job duties include but are not limited to:
-Cleaning kennels and sanitizing surfaces
- A lot of cleaning!
- Assisting customers for check in/check out
- Bath/drying/clipping nails on dogs

Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Must be able to work with all dog breeds, cats and other small animals
MUST be on time and dependable!!!!!

The main shifts you must be able to work are every other Tuesday 6:45AM-5:00PM and every other Wednesday 6:45AM-2:00PM. You will be scheduled for other shift times but these are a must!

Meet Makenzey! 💛
🌟A little bit about this stellar employee: Makenzey has worked at Waggin Wonders for a little over 3 years as a Pet Care Technician and Grooming Assistant!
She is a freshman nursing major at Marian University and is looking forward to a career as a Flight Nurse. Kenzey loves everything yellow and corgis!
Pictured below is Makenzey with her cowboy corgi Gurdy Reggington. Gurdy is two and half years old and Kenzey refers to Gurdy as her “son”. 💛
We asked Kenzey what her favorite part of working at Waggin Wonders is and this is what she had to say!
“I love working at Waggin Wonders because I love seeing all the corgis that come in. It makes my whole day. I also love that I can bring my dog to work with me!”

Did you know that January is Walk Your Dog Month?!?🦮

Did you also know that Waggin Wonders created the Jackson County Dog Walking Pals last year? 🐾

If you haven’t heard of our group I’ll tell you a bit about it!
🐾Our group meets every 2 weeks for about an hour starting in March!
🐾Our group is used to promote our community to get out and choose an active lifestyle while meeting new friends and doing it all while bringing your furry friend along!
🐾 You do not have to be a customer at Waggin Wonders to participate in this group! This is a group for anyone who wants to join!
🐾You do not have to have a dog to join our group! Our group coordinator Sydney has a surplus of dogs to go around! If you want to join our walk and need a dog just message Sydney!
🐾 You can show up and walk without a dog! This is all about community! We welcome anyone who wants to walk, kiddos are welcome too! You just must be comfortable with dogs!
🐾 We also are accommodating to those pets with reactivity issues! We are all dog people here and we welcome pets that need to remain separated but stay socialized! Let the group coordinator know that your dog is reactive and put a RED colored leash on your dog to mark to others to remain spacious!

Look up our group and join to start walking with us in March!🐾🦮

Grooming cats doesn’t have to be scary for either the cat or the groomer! Having a knowledgeable cat groomer can make all the difference for your furry feline! I’ve been grooming Letti for a few years now and through learning her behaviors and her likes and dislikes we have managed to make the grooming process as stress free as can be! 💕🐱🐈 Videos of Letti’s groom in the comments!
