Duke and Diane have been transferred to Far Fetched Dog Rescue!! Where they will be in a foster home until they are adopted! We ultimately chose to transfer them to the rescue vs keeping them in the shelter until they were ready to be adopted. With a rescue they will have more funds, more time and attention and better opportunities!! They will be loved in a foster home until they are healthy enough to be adopted rather than sitting in a kennel for 23 hours a day. I am so thankful for far fetched rescue for giving these guys an amazing opportunity 🩶🩶

Farewell Duke and Diane!! Duke came into the shelter weighing 39lbs and he left weight 86lbs!! Diane came in weight 32lbs and left the shelter weighing 57lbs! What a long way they came!

Zoey had a WONDERFUL meet and greet today! She will be going to a foster to adopt home tmrw!

Meet Zoey!!

Zoey is a snow loving girl looking for her forever home!! Zoey needs a home WITHOUT cats AND small children! Zoeys ideal home would be with no kiddos or kids over 10 with knowledge of dog boundaries! Zoey has done well with other dogs in the shelter so we believe that she would do well with a housemate. Zoey would be great as an indoor/outdoor dog! She LOVES all weather and we have to FIGHT her to come inside. She is stubborn but sweet! Zoey is spayed and fully vaccinated. Zoey is heartworm positive and will need to be treated in her forever home. We unfortunately do not have the funds to move forward with heartworm treatment.

PUPDATE: Owner has been found!!

This dog was found on County Road 300 by Lake Leslie today 1/6/24. She has an older collar on, no tags. She chased my uncle's truck down the road and he stopped and let her in. She was shivering and hungry. My contact is 812-530-6136. Pics following
