Breeder Pond #04 Swallow Tails and Trans.You just have to look, and you can see how active these fish are. That Swallow Tail is very attractive, and to see though a fish is a great Biology lesson for young and old.This is the gene pool fish being moved to breeding pond leaving leaving the fry of the first drop back in the sorting ponds

This is a sample of the gene pool for the breeder pond #03. Breeder Pond #03 is hopefully going to give the best Yellow Out There to the Tankful Guppy Farm. We have notice that there is a lot of red and blue on the market, but Yellow has been somewhat shunned. Yellow is the showiest color in any tank, and with these fish we are hoping to achieve flashy long tails in bright Yellow.

Juvenile guppies from the Mother Pond they are around 5-6 weeks of age.These are Juvenile guppies from the Tankful Guppy Farm Mother Pond. The Mother pond is were all varieties of guppies raise on the Tankful Guppy Farm are selected from. Mother Pond juvenile are like the Forest Gumps box of chocolates as they grow into adults and start breeding their fry may or may not look like them. It takes multiple generation of breeding of breeding to secure that the traits of the parents or pass to the fry.

There are fry all over the Tankful Guppy Farm ponds. They loaded up in the Mother pond, and in all of the Breeder ponds. The fry are growing fast, and we have now just started to sort thru the first drop of the Breeder ponds.
At this point You can start to tell the males from the females. One dose not what to have to many expectations now on how the final product (fish) will turn out, but should look for what seem to be the dominate traits of each of the different Breeder ponds.

We have began to separate the Adult fish from the first drop fry. We are doing this to lesson the contamination of these fry from the time the adults spent in the mother pond.
We will concentrate on the characteristic’s of the second drop in about 6 weeks.
These fry from the first drop are to be grown out for comparison to each other first and then to the second drop of the (gene pool) adults. The first drop fry will be separated male from female and the each s*x will be determined in comparison to its traits for similarities and the most dominate of these may continue on with those of the second drop if they show the same traits.

We have moved the adults to the Breeding pond #01. The fry from the first drop have been left behind in the grow out ponds to be further separated by s*x and for trait comparison to the second drop.
