Hoarding Case Update : Part of the family was at the home today and found a pitiful cat hiding in a closet. She is suffering from a respiratory infection, flea anemia, and is severely emaciated. She rushed her to our vets office and she is now receiving treatment.

This sweet girl is still at the vet and will probably be there over the weekend. She is super sick and will need a lot to start to feel better! We'll post an update when we have new information.

Just a quick update on the dog hoarding situation! So far we have been able to trap two cats from the property. Both are covered in fleas and one is thin. Today they will be vaccinated, dewormed, medicated, flea treated, and given a warm quiet place to sleep and decompress. As of right now they are very timid but in due time they will become amazing cats!

Headed back with 20 cats!! All but 1 are super friendly and sweet!! The one is shy and just scared but will definitely come around after getting settled. Since they come fully vetted they are able to go to homes when they recieve applications!! We'll share some more pictures of them over the next few days!! Now time to name all 20, drop name suggestions in the comments!!

We haven't said much about this until we fully got all the details. We have decided to take a few cats to help out this small cat rescue. The cats we are taking come fully vetted so we do not need donations for their vetting. However we do ask if you would like to help, please donate to the small rescue to help them continue to care for the rest of the cats in their care. We will update when we have picked up the cats today!

This Saturday starts our summer palooza of adoption events every Saturday for the summer! If you cant adopt we can always use help setting up for the event (Friday evenings), help during the events, or just come and hang out with the furry animals we bring!!

We knew it was getting to quiet with kitten season being here. Today we intaked 6 kittens, 5 from the same litter and one found by herself. All 6 have respiratory infections some more severe than others. They will get vaccinated, dewormed, and antibiotics to clear the infection. This all costs funds and on average its roughly about $150-$200 per cat/kitten we take in to fully vaccinate, combo test, spay or neuter, and microchip (when adopted) this does not include if we have to treat illness or the dry/wet food cost as well. Times that by 6 and its roughly $900-$1200 just for these 6 kittens that came into our care today! If you would like to help please think about sponsoring a kitten today! Or even sponsoring half! Anything right now helps us continue to care for these babies and be able to help more as kitten season keeps on going!!
