Brunswick Dog Park and Police K9 Training Park

The City of Brunswick obtained 17 acres of the Cross Creek land in the 1980’s by the Cross Creek developer. The city fenced in 3/4 of an acre to make a dog park. This park has a space for small dogs, 19lbs or less and a separate space for the large dogs 20lbs and more. In 2020 Brady’s K9 Fund, a Strongsville non-profit Organization was approached by a producing company to air a TV series featuring children helping kids that doing good in their community. The Founder & CEO of Brady’s K9 Fund is 10 years-old Strongsville resident, Brady Snakovsky. Brady is aware that the police K9’s are always looking for somewhere to train and environmental training is vita.l It allows the K9’s to feel comfortable in what they will see when out on duty, it builds confidence, and allows them to have fun while doing it. Knowing that Brunswick Dog Park could use a bit of love this set the spot for the perfect environment allowing the community to use this space as well as allowing the park to be closed one day a week just for the police K9’s to train.

A bit about the Non-Profit Organization, Brady’s K9 Fund: Brady Snakovsky and his mom, Leah Tornabene run the organization donating practical ballistic vests to police and military K9’s across the United States. The majority of these K9’s are not automatically issued one when start their careers like their human partners. Brady was eight years-old when he found out about this and has made it his mission to purchase ballistic vests for K9’s in need. K9 handlers reach out for Brady’s help through his website: Bradysk9fund.com where they add their dog to the wait list. As of July 2020 Bradys has raised over $315,000.00, helped 255 K9s across 22 different states, Afghanistan and Canada and currently holds a wait list for other K9s needing his help.

If you like this park and it’s mission and would like to donate for more equipment and keeping the park beautiful there is a spot to do so at Bradysk9fund.com and when you donate you can click for the funds to directly to the park. 100% of funds received will go back into keeping the park beautiful.
