Felv cats will usually spend the rest of their lives in a rescue, and die there. One of a Kind is one of the few rescues that is able to house these cats and they do an amazing job at it, but that doesn’t mean these loving babies don’t need a home.

When a kitten is born with FeLV, they're not promised a ton of time on Earth. And Linus has already been waiting 6 months. Please don't let him spend his whole life here. Linus can live with dogs and other FeLV cats. He loves being held. Please, someone give him furever. He'll be such a good boy.

Calling all cat people!! I have recently read that dry cat food is NOT good for cats, and they should be fed a completely wet cat food diet.

Does anyone else do this? If so what kind?

(I am constantly researching the best food for all my animals) 💞

As someone who just adores senior dogs, these two are the cutest duo I have ever seen! What sweet babies and an amazing rescue!!! 🥰🥰🥰

All of our dogs will thank you, but especially best friends Cedric and Kimchi who share a foster home.

Cedric (left), 10+-year-old Pit Bull/Bulldog mix, is deaf and almost completely blind, but that does not slow him down at all. He is currently training to share his good nature with the community as one of the Sanctuary's therapy dogs. Friendly and loving, Cedric is perfect for the job.

Kimchi (right), 12-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is part of our Forever Foster/Hospice Program. One of the sweetest dogs ever, Kimchi has a heart condition that we are managing with frequent vet visits and medication, but spaying her would be too risky, so we will not place her for adoption.

And introducing new cat clients Silver and Half a Stash (possibly the greatest name ever)! Halfy is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day.
These two are just the sweetest! I also think Silver might be the cutest cat I have ever seen in my life 😻😻 They will be back on Friday for 2 weeks!

Sweet baby Luci crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. She was the sweetest, cutest, most cuddly, absolute gem of a dog. When I say everyone loved Luci…I mean everyone. How could you not? She was one of my husband and I’s favorite. When we first met her we called her Gidget from Secret Life of Pets. You couldn’t help but just pick her up constantly, carry her around and kiss her. My dogs adored her too!

When we adopted our cat Prim she was very shy and hid for over a month. It wasn’t until I was pet sitting Luci and her brother Dezi that Prim then decided to come out from hiding!!! Prim adored her new dog friends!

Luci was incredibly loved by her whole family. Their hearts are broken. Luci fought until the very end. She knew nothing but love. Please keep her family in your hearts. Also keep her sweet brother Dezi and cousin Nicci in your prayers. They were all 3 the best of friends.
Luci will be missed greatly. How such a tiny little nugget can leave such a huge hole in your heart.
I am grateful to have been a part of Luci’s life and care. 🥰🥰
Rest easy little one. Watch over your family.
