Pampered Paws 🐾 family,
I want to make everyone aware of a couple of things and thought it's easiest to make a post, I would like to start by saying this post is not directed towards anyone in particular this is just a general post meant for information purposes and clarity . First my goal with your pets grooming experience is to provide a safe, loving, relaxed environment my whole approach is a spa like atmosphere in my 30 years of experience dogs respond best to calm , patient care ,while I understand you may have other time obligations or appointments to attend I would ask you to consider that grooming is a process it takes a certain amount of time to safely achieve a beautiful result, please allow at least 3 hours of time your pet may be with me, of course depending on the circumstances of your individual pets needs this process may take longer, I will make every effort to get them back to you as quickly as I am able again safety is of utmost importance , also if your pet is anxious in general rushing them through the process is not what's best for them and my entire goal is what is best for them , at drop off if your pet has anxiety the best action you can take it to calmly hand over the leash and then leave , 💯 of the time as soon as you are gone they are happy and ready to get to work, you & your pets relationship with me requires trust , and communication if you have any questions or concerns please always feel free to text or call me , if I am not able to get back to you immediately please be assured I will at my soonest opportunity ! Thank you in advance for your understanding .
All my love ,

A true story....

A true story....

Sometimes it is a dog who teaches you more about life than any human ever could. They don't give lectures or offer advice; they simply live—openly, honestly, and without regret. Dogs don't hold grudges, dwell on mistakes, or worry about what tomorrow might bring. Instead, they embrace each moment fully, loving without hesitation and forgiving without conditions.

From them, you learn that loyalty isn't something you have to earn—it's freely given. Patience isn't practiced for reward, but simply because kindness matters. Dogs teach you about joy in the simplest things—a warm patch of sun, a new adventure, the comfort of companionship. Their presence alone speaks louder than words ever could.

In the end, perhaps the greatest lesson a dog can teach you is how to love completely and unapologetically—how to cherish every second, how to move forward without bitterness, and how to leave a lasting mark on someone’s heart without ever saying a single word.

I rescued a human today.....

Her eyes met mine as she walked down the corridor peering apprehensively into the kennels. I felt her need instantly and knew I had to help her.

I wagged my tail, not too exuberantly, so she wouldn't be afraid.
As she stopped at my kennel I blocked her view from a little accident I had in the back of my cage.

I didn't want her to know that I hadn't been walked today.

Sometimes the overworked shelter keepers get too busy and I didn't want her to think poorly of them.

As she read my kennel card I hoped that she wouldn't feel sad about my past. I only have the future to look forward to and want to make a difference in someone's life.

She got down on her knees and made little kissy sounds at me. I shoved my shoulder and side of my head up against the bars to comfort her.

Gentle fingertips caressed my neck; she was desperate for companionship. A tear fell down her cheek and I raised my paw to assure her that all would be well.

Soon my kennel door opened and her smile was so bright that I instantly jumped into her arms.

I would promise to keep her safe.

I would promise to always be by her side.

I would promise to do everything I could to see that radiant smile and sparkle in her eyes.

I was so fortunate that she came down my corridor.

So many more are out there who haven't walked the corridors.

So many more to be saved.

At least I could save one.

I rescued a human today.....

Here's a fun little fact about our furry pals: while dogs can devour just about anything, there are certain foods that can turn them from happy pups into not-so-happy campers! 🚫🍫

Take grapes, for instance. You might think they're a healthy snack, but they're actually a big no-no for dogs. Just a handful can lead to kidney failure! 😱 And don’t get me started on chocolate—because, let’s be real, if dogs could have a sweet tooth, chocolate would be their first choice! 🍫 But it’s a serious danger.

Xylitol, often found in sugar-free gum and some peanut butter, is another sneaky ingredient that can wreak havoc on a dog’s health. It drops their blood sugar and can lead to liver failure! Yikes!

So, next time you're enjoying a snack, remember to keep those toxic foods away from your pup. They may give you those puppy-dog eyes, but trust me, it’s better to stick to doggie treats. 🥳🍖 Let’s keep our furry friends safe and sound!
