'An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!'

Little Moochi was here for a nurse appointment to get her heartworm test and pick up prevention.

*Heartworm disease is caused by a parasitic worm that is transmitted via mosquitoes, and it only takes ONE BIT from an infected mosquito for your pet to contract heartworm disease.
*Ticks carry DISEASES, like Lyme Disease, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Babesiosis.
*Fleas can lay over 50 eggs PER DAY. It takes 90 days to break the flea lifecycle and flea baths do NOT get rid of fleas entirely. Year-round prevention is recommended.
