I've been booking people for a few hours now for 2025 and I'm no where near done! Don't fear I will get to you! I will be continuing to book out appointments tomorrow, so watch for a text. Below is a copy of my new policy which you will receive via text with your appointments.
Happy Sunday to all! First I'd like to thank everyone for letting me care for your wonderful fur kids all these years! Below are my updated policies and you will be receiving dates for 2025 that I will need confirmed or feel free to request changes.
1.) This one has been a big issue so heres the run down! No show, no call missed appointments will go up from 50% your booked grooming fee to 75% of your grooming fee. Please allow 24 hours notice for all cancellations. I do not charge for unavoidable emergencies such as inclement weather or illness IF you text and inform me, but please text the moment you know you cannot make the appointment, day or night, any time. I text all no shows 10 min after their scheduled check in time, and at 15 minutes I fill the slot if able. Please do not wait until I text you to say you cannot make your appointment if sick or snowed in or etc. because I will have to charge a fee at that point. I try very hard to do reminder texts, but please don't rely on them.
2.) A late fee of $5 per 10 minutes will occur after the first 10 minutes late. Imagine I can bathe a whole small dog in 10 minutes, so this impacts my schedule a lot. Early is always better than late.
3.) Please make sure all dogs are leashed to and from the building. This applies to everyone, even if your dog is well behaved and walks inside fine. There are other people and pets coming and going and delivery drivers who don't always mind the driveway, and this also keeps your dogs in the designated potty areas.
4.) Please keep your dogs in the drive (any of the wooded areas around the drive are also fine) and the grass between the walk down and the building for pottying. I try very hard to keep client dogs off my yard area. Many thanks on this one.
5.) Payment remains cash, check, or venmo. No cards or other electronic payments.
6.) A price increase went into effect October 1st 2024. Please inquire about your specific cost if you have any concerns prior to your appointment.
When you confirm your appointments for 2025, I will have them printed off with these policies for you to sign and have a copy for you to take home at your next appointment. If anyone has any questions always feel free to text me.
