While we have good things planned for away from Vivace we also have good things planned for at home in 2025. This was the breeding we had hoped to do earlier this year but the universe said wait. I'm super excited about this litter as it will be sired by a Vivace bred dog. Guilty (Steve/SWAK) and Khloe will also be a spring 2025 litter. While not as accomplished in the performance ring, Khloe is an excellent bitch with a fantastic drive and temperament. Guilty is an absolute powerhouse of a dog who gives 150% in everything he does. I expect highly driven puppies out of this pairing.

A little behind in posting but better late than never! Puppies #4 and #5 went to their new homes where they will be flyball dogs (among other things) competing against each other! We look forward to fabulous things from Lotus/La Marque (on the left) and Heckle/Detroit (on the right). They are gonna tear up the lanes in the PNW with their half brother Guilty! Congratulations to Karyn and Noreen!!

After a very long series of flights with her brother Ferris, Marfa now X**a, Vivace's Warrior Princess X**a, made it to her new dad Michael in Montana. She has a big brother and two big sisters who will show her all the things she needs to know about hiking and backpacking among other fun things. One of X**a's big sisters is Vivace's Tiger Lily from the second SWAK/Steve litter who does dog sports with mom Lynn.

Puppy #2 and #3 flew the nest at the same time yesterday, both bound for Montana. Luckenbach now Ferris, Vivace's Life Moves Pretty Fast, headed off to his new home with his mom Kimberly. Ferris has a Stafford big sister at home ready to show him the ropes. Marfa also hitched along for the plane rides to get to her new dad.

The first puppy has flown the nest! Matador who is now Benson, Vivace's Elite Squad, is off to his new home in the Austin area of Texas. He is staying semi local and will be doing all the dog sports and some conformation. Congratulations to his new mom Michelle who is in love already!

I have an AKC registered red/white pied Staffordshire Bull Terrier male out of health tested parents available to a performance home or possibly an active pet home with dog experience. Stephenville has a good amount of bone and should mature to 15"-16" tall and around 35lbs. He is extremely people oriented with excellent food drive and average toy drive. All the puppies have been raised following puppy culture protocols and will be microchipped with age appropriate vaccines. I will be extremely picky about his placement with performance homes given preference, not first come first served.

A good 2023 for Vivace Staffords. Guilty, Vivace's Verdict Is In, was the fastest Stafford in U-FLI. Cheater, Vivace's Caught Me On the Counter, was the #7 Novice Scentwork Stafford, #2 Rally Stafford, #1 Air Retrieve Lap Stafford, #2 Hydrodash Lap Stafford, #2 Distance Jump Lap Stafford, and the #7 FAST CAT Stafford. Upa, Vivace 100 Percent Chance of Sugar would have also probably made the Rally list but it's composed of dogs owned by SBTCA members only. Congratulations to all the Vivace pups who earned titles in 2023!!

Your dog isn't being stubborn or disobedient, it is behaving as a dog should and doing what comes naturally. It is our job to teach them that certain aspects of what is natural to them are not desirable by us and to give them an alternative outlet for that behavior. Their behavior is a direct reflection of their genetics and what behaviors you have reinforced. Make sure you start with a dog whose breed characteristics best match your lifestyle and then spend the time during their first two years of life to teach them what you want them to do, just like you would with your children. Dogs are not psychic, they cannot read your mind and since we don't speak the same language it's up to you to communicate your expectations to them as clearly and fairly as you can.

#3 Pied Male - Luckenbach - A city famous for being a country music venue and inspiration

#4 Red Male - Matador - A city with red clay soil named for the famous nearby cattle ranch

#5 Pied Female - Detroit - She was actually born in the car in the parking lot of the Vet's office as we tried to make a break for home, named after the OG Motor City in Michigan

#6 Pied Female - LaMarque - The only puppy who was actually born at home, so named after my home town
