Here someone I haven’t posted in a while. Olaf! His weight is 83 pounds. Hard to believe he is already two years old. Still has his beautiful green eyes. His loves are the veterinary office and people. Of course his cows.

After a trip to the vet for progesterone testing.A trip out of town to pick up my stud and another trip to vet for ultrasound.Latte did not take. We will try again with her next heat. I may use another stud here in town. All part of breeding.

Another voluntary recall due to a positive salmonella test.

What we know about Victor dog food and recall. Victor’s dog food was founded in the 1950’s. Family owned company. Their processing plant is out of Mount Pleasant Texas. It is the only one I could find. They claim to avoid ingredients from China. Also avoid cheap fillers such as soy, corn and gluten.Not sold nationwide. They claimed not to have recalls or controversies up to Sept. of this year. Lot number 100016385. 5 pound bag. The South Carolina department of agriculture picked up salmonella in their products . At that time there was no human or pet illness. Now the most recent recalls for salmonella. The three lot numbers are posted. I have seen many popular food with recalls. The CDC always has concerns for dog health but also cross contamination to humans. Wash your hands after handling any dog food. Don’t let toddlers get into the dog food and eat.I am sure Mid American Pet food will correct the problem .They need to do better. Victor’s will definitely take a big hit over this matter. As 10 year user and Victor’s safely record up to now. Not ready to give up on all together. Always important to follow your dog food tract record

One of the questions I get most often is, how are dogs with children? I didn’t produce Dirt Devil’s Hazel. She is a senior dog now. I was told she had a strong connection with children when I got her. I found this to be the case.She is so calm and loving with them. She can take a toddler. My grandson is going
to have tubes in his ears today. My daughter swears Hazel knows something is up. She slept in the room all night. I also know she will be happy when her little man comes home from hospital. Prime example of what these dogs are all about. My daughter says she is the perfect dog and very much loved by her family.

Update on Kendall. Her new name is Abigail. Watching Tv with dad. They state she is a pretty easy pup.

Otto, 10 pounds 3oz. Chase 10 pounds 4oz and Joanie 8 pounds 8oz. They just turned 9 weeks. Joanie the sable is looking for her place. Just loving the rich color of them.

Otto, Willy and Payton having a good time with the blankets I just put down. Otto is 7 lbs 5oz, Willy is more compact and 6.7 pounds and Payton who is now Loretta is 7 pounds . I don’t know Willy new name yet. There starting to take off with weights. They all have average a pound in four days. Absolutely loving the color of this litter.

So everyone seems to do their business on one ends of box. Someone missed the mark but close. Their learning unless they start tearing up pads.

We are almost walking.

If I post a video update on this litter, it is given that my grandchild is going to be narrating. Moira’s litter 3 weeks old. Give them a few days and they will be up on all fours.
